Tip for general Spec. Equipment kills. If you are doing Hardcore challenges, play Nomad. Place a single mind in the top of a doorway, and another somewhere out of the sight of the first (to prevent the tripwire link), also on the doorway. A single mine is enough to kill unless flak jacket or Crash specialist is active.
great guide, the whole "clear the objective" part makes so much more sense now... too bad ive already finished this challenge a couple days ago lol. Im at 98% with 5 challenges left: 4/5 on the care package surprise, 44/50 on the one where you kill someone using their specialist weapon with your specialist, 700/1000 on spec equip kills, and then 100 on ground and air assault (objective kills with the streaks).
I'm in the same boat, just need to finish off my 1000 equipment kills and 3 more ruin shutdowns. It's so weird, was stuck at 5 for several weeks, then I just got 2 in one game. Heard that Safeguard is good for it, guess I'll try that when the time comes.
I luckily completed that challenge a day before they buffed Cold Blooded. Which makes the Sentry almost useless against Cold Blooded players. And now woth Zero it's just scary to imagine going for it nowadays.

What works for team work? Like does it have to be something that does damage for it to count or can you us any including for example an EMP or vision pulse would that work or does it have to be something that does damage I.e cluster grenade, war machine, flame thrower and so on for it to count for the assists?

What constitutes an Objective Kills? I've been standing on an objective (Dom flag for example) killed enemies nowhere near the objective and sometimes get the "objective kill" and sometimes I don't. In a few occasions, where no one is near an objective but I killed 2 guys that are close to an objective and I got it. Ive also tried killing enemies on an objective while im overlooking it and get kills but nothing shows up. Please critique this. I'm so confused seeing I'm trying to complete the "Stay Cool" challenge.

I think the wipeout challenge is glitched on Xbox, none of the wipeouts i get playing dom (my favorite game mode) count towards progress to the challenge.... still sitting at a big fat 0 lol
Hardpoint for sentry duty. Just throw it down on the hill and lay down and let the sentry go to work. All it has to do is kill 3 people while you hold the obj. With zero now though it does make it harder.

3:34 It doesn't have to be fast enough to be a double kill / multikill medal, but there is a (slightly longer) time window, it needs to be relatively fast.

Still? They always tracked for me, I showed some hardcore examples. Hardcore is a problem for some challenges but wipeouts should be fine if you do it right.
@@S0ur I don't know what it is, but objective EKIAs and wipeouts don't count at all for me in hardcore dom. After hundreds of matches I still had 0 for each.

the sentry ones are the only difficult scorestreak ones, the rest could besides gunship can be grinded with care package drops. I had a glitch where shooting an Attack chopper down with FMJ 2 gave me TWO credit toward anti-air specialist a few times.
The game still has a lot of flukes during matches. For instance in my experience early after release back in October, I would discover that my specialist issue item such as Crashes ammo pack would not deploy when ready by pressing the RB. Nothing, just a click sound. So I would switch from HC mode to core and it would work for a couple of games until the same issue would appear. Sometimes the specialist weapon would work ( pressing both buttons) but not the special issue item with eventually neither of them working. The problem disappeared after about a weeks worth of game play in early to mid November. Now suddenly it has returned again with the items unable to deploy but the weapon ok. Not sure what is causing this to happen but it’s not my controller since the same issue happens on a different controller when I switch them out. Very weird and wonder if anybody else has experienced this?
Are you experiencing this in HC? You might have accidentely deleted the specialist equipment gear in create a class (the one which takes no class point). This has actualy happened to me and I couldn't see the missing equipment in hardcore :)

Costed me a nuclear because I was stuck at 20 health and could not heal or tak 5 even thought they were both charged.
Just wait for a featured gamemode update, thats how i got demolition and free for all done in balck ops 3, learned my lesson this time and completed all the less popular modes on launch

Bro I never experience something so freakin horrible in my life this challenge is literally killing me, why you ask? Well because people don't actually go to capture the control and if they do is just one person and if two people go to capture the control my specialty weapon isn't ready and if is ready one guy is in another corner capturing the control and the other guy is in the other corner as well and when that happens my specialty weapon is never ready, Im literally curse this is horrible

Best way really is reactor core near hard points using equipment charge. Just finished mine yesterday. Easily get 1-4 kills per charge

I got sentry duty on icebreaker. Put it in the 4th hill. There's enough cover for people to get into the objective before dying to the sentry.

Wipeouts still do not track in hardcore dom. Make sure to do those in core.

Same cant use my item, thought it was caused by operator mods but with other classes couldn't use them either
