I actually enjoyed the movie, it was a fresh take on an old Christmas trope. Loved the songs and dancing, loved the cast... Movie was well done. Will definitely watch it again.
Saw it today in snowy upstate New York and it is now The Official Christmas Movie. FABULOUS. LAUGHING, CRYING. SONGS ARE GREAT, DANCING SPECTACULAR. 🎄🎄♥️♥️☃️☃️☘️
I absolutely LOVED this film. I've already watched it at least 10 times and I bought the soundtrack. I just really hope it will come out on blu ray with a digital copy so I can add it to my Movies Anywhere account. This much is for sure, it will be a holiday staple in the Huff family household along with Its a Wonderful Life, The Santa Clause, Miracle on 34th Street, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. To be honest, I've never been a big Will Farrell fan. I don't think I've ever seen him in a movie and I wasn't a fan of Elf. I may just have to give that a try again because Spirited and The Adam Project are my two favorite movies of 2022.
Spirited may possibly be The Only Christmas Themed movie I've ever enjoyed because yes, I'm a Grinch. Just writing "Christmas" makes me cringe. So others think it's the worse one? Huh... Bah, humbug!
I was skeptical at first cause I saw the description say " a musical twist to scrooge", but I truly enjoyed this movie! The songs and the dancing were awesome! If there were any other lead actors in this besides Ryan Reynolds and Will Farrell, I don't think it would have resonated so much for me. I don't know why people are saying it's a bad movie. These talented funny actors did something different to a classic story and I admire the filmmakers for it! I just think the haters don't like the " extras" the movie brings. They just want to get the story moving without these "interruptions."Look at all the work the actors did and the commitment! I applaud the entire cast! 👏 👏👏
Love Spirited. Watched it twice now. Who knew Ryan is such a song and dad-dance man!
