5'9" 150lbs. Never stepped foot on a dirtbike. Rode my in laws 250 and then my uncles built yzf 450. Went out and bought me a crf450R. Love the thing. I already have clutch and gas control naturally as I drive manual. I also have respect for the bike. If you have some experience with a manual gearbox and respect for the power I don't think any bike is too big. I only see physical strength as the only obstacle if you're undersized.

Well I have not owned a dirt bike before but I have driven one so I got a 2002 xr80r not bad, hit 65mph , but mainly bought it for the price. To me it does not matter what size someone starts out on.
A 2002 Xr80r was the first dirt bike I bought as well! Also got it for the price because it also wasn't running. Wanted to learn how to fix them. Once I got used to it, It wasn't long till I realized I was too big for it so I ended up selling it and getting a Ttr225. Already miss that bike though.
Im 14 and 2 months and I am looking forward to getting a dirt bike this christmas. I have had experience on a Honda Crf50, Honda Crf110 and I only rode a Honda Crf125 once but it is a little bit difficult for me to start the crf125 and when I am riding a crf110 I got a feeling that I would be too big for the bike. I like kick starter bikes aswell. I am also thinking of a bike to grow into, Any ideas of what Honda bike I should get?
+Mr. Renshott hahahahah mr enshott but no you need a 125 and below 4 stroke so like a yamaha ttr125 but if you want 2 stroke get a 85 and below 2 stroke so like a rm85

Hey I'm 15 years old 6'1" 170 pounds and I've rode a Honda 50cc (3-gears) that doesn't have a clutch for around 2 years now which is the only experience I have on a bike. As you can imagine it is very, very small for me to ride. I want to move up in size and speed of the bike so where I can comfortably fit onto the bike and it won't be too hard for me to get used to since I don't have much experience in riding dirt bikes outside of the small 50cc Honda I mentioned earlier. Which dirtbike and size do you recommend me moving up to? I would really appreciate the input, thank you
Hello Guys! So i'm 15 years old, currently i'm riding a yamaha yz85 and i ride it very much and i have alot of experience of riding it, i know how everything works. And lately i've been driving my uncles kawasaki kx250f and it's very smooth and nice to drive, i can't max it rn but if i learn i think i can make it. So i am saving for a new dirt bike i was looking on yamaha yz250f but my friend say it's waaaay too strong for me and he said i need to go for a 125cc and idk if i should trust him, so i ask you guys what should i buy yamaha yz125 or yamaha yz250f? My size is around 55 - 60 kg (125 pound) and im 175 cm long (5.7 foot) Sry for long text but i hope that you guys can take ur time and read this, Thanks!
Adult 6'1 own several Honda atv. And a street bike. What size bike do I need. Want a full sized frame with a small 4 stroke engine with electric start. Not worried about power will be used for cruising around dirt roads.
If you're looking into motocross racing I would suggest an 85 (small wheel) or maybe even a 65. If you're looking to trail ride and off-road maybe a big wheel klx 110
How tall are ya? Check the seat height on the bike ya want n' them measure your height up to your waist. Thats how i would find a bike that fits ya :) But if you can handle a big bike go ahead
Once he’s ready, sold his old bike, waited half a year for his parents to painstakingly work for at least a down payment for a lone he can move up to a bigger bike. Man what happened? Honda used to be in the perfect price range now it’s like 3.5k instead of 2.5k like what happened?
I'm 14 ,5'8 ,128 pounds ride a rm 125 I like it but I personally think I should be riding a 250 cause I like 4 strokes better. They just have a better feel and have bottom and top end. With 125s I always need to be in the power and I just like to have more control on the bike instead of the bike riding me.
I'm 15, 5'11 and 160 lbs with no experiance with motorbikes but well trained on bikes as a whole. I'm looking for something $3,500 and below, wanting to ride both on and off the road, and wanting it to be relatively new. What should I get? Be descriptive.
I have been riding ATVs and snowmobiles all my life in rural Alaska, where nobody around me has dirt bikes, thus, me having no experience. I would like to know what kind of bike would be best for me without looking ridiculous. I already have experience with clutch and shifters. I'm 5'11 and 16 years old.
14 years old 5 foot 6 112 lbs Never rode a dirt bike before in my life, did ride a scooter couple of times, but crashed into a bamboo tree and broke the rear light. I was thinking 125cc? Thanks.
125cc is perfect. I would recommend a honda crf 125. I am also 14 years of age and 5'6 but I weight 125. I ride a 250. If a honda is too expensive, get a china bike, something like an ssr. That is how I got started.

+moist Yeah, it's just a little smaller than a 250 and slow as hell so if you want a good bike get a 250 or 450 as both of which are faster than the XR350 as it's more a Dual sport than a dirtbike. but hey if it's free take it if you want it. especially since new dirtbikes are expensive.

I'm 4'9 and way 75 pounds what should I get...I have a lot of high hills where I am and I was thinking about the ssr 125 pit bike. What are some other suggestions? I am on a budget so keep that in mind.
