Odd, it had no particular theme or personality, as some one's home would. A bit of a mish mash, as if it were used as a more "practical" venue. So here's a random theory. It was a well to do person's swingers club? Perhaps failed when a recent health incident prevented social contact, a few years back. That would be sad, really.
