I have had the bike since May 3, 2022. The issues with the wobbling began to appear two weeks ago when I was at 1400kms. I ha e done two services to it. Here in Greece they recommend 500km 1000km 2000km 5000km and so on. It is not the bike because a friend of mine has a "DONNIE," although a different colour, but nevertheless he also has the bobbling issue. He has had his ST 200 since July 2021. I am not sure when he started encountering the issue. Initially I thought is might be either a bearing or a alignment issue, but the mechanic at sym told me if there were other issues the bike would do other things apart from wobbling. SYM here in my part of Greece told me some thing which seems to be proving as a given and that is that the tires they put on at the factory are not the best. Supposedly they are made of nylon. Anyway, I enjoy your videos especially the trip through Europe and the middle east. Take care and be safe.
@@alexandrosmp1 I also recomend changing the tyres. It fixed my wobble when I switched to Michelin city grip 2. There is a video on my channel about the Michelin tyre.

My Euro 5 Fiddle 125 has a less than perfect rear tyre and after 3000 miles is needing changed - like you I’m going for Michelin Citygrip. @@B.GAS. Can't remember. I did the first 1000 km in the first week of owning it almost 3 years ago. Now it has 43.000km on the clock.
Can u pls tell me if this mat color is a problem with the scratches?I have ordered the same. Thanks.
Not really, I haven't had a problem with it, I do have a couple of scratches on it from off-roading :)))) but otherwise it's ok
I just bought sym symphony ST 200i, ABS 2022.
How did you solve the steering wheel vibrations?
When I take off the suitcase there are no vibrations.
I changed to front tire to a Michelin city grip 2 and it worked
Goran, you mean vibrations on idle speed which disappear when you accelerate;
I bought a 2023 Sym symphony ST 200 and when I sit, vubrations on idle speed becomes stronger! When i get up, vibrations goes down!!
And i hear sounds from the bag like rattlesnake!!! 😲
Any ideas; Thanks,
@@petrosmpampalis6097
Yes, but they say it's normal on any single cylinder engine.
And the vibrations on the steering wheel stopped after changing the tires.
Too many vibrations in neutral, waiting for the green! I suppose the little bag plays it's role..
Bad sense of flash lever!

Nice video. How can i take off the top box?thnx
With the key, you unlock it and then you push in the bottom part with the key hole
@@RideWithAlex thnx alex👍
Where you by windshield for this model ?
It's a GIVI windshield, just talk to stores selling GIVI accessories.

2 things i dont like about the new model:they removed the locked glovebox in the front and the rev counter from the dash.
I am happy to trade the locked glove box for twice the under seat storage, and the Rev counter I do miss it as something to look at in reality in a scooter you don't really use it since the transmission is automatic. There is a way to have a Rev counter though and obd scanner, I've tried it and it works perfectly
@@RideWithAlex Im thinking about buying a Sym scooter this year,im oscilating between the Symphony St and the Jet 14,i like the looks of the Jet better, but the ST has more luggage space, the 125 LC and the 200 AC engines,i presume are the same on both models
@@CristiBucerzan yes the engines are identical, both the 125 l/c and the 200a/c. And about chowing between them, the jet looks better and has more leg room, the ST is much more practical. So depends what you want from it, I chose the practicality.
@@RideWithAlex Do you know anything about the reliability of the LC vs AC ? In theory the AC beeing a simpler engine with 2 valves and air cooling, should me more reliable, then the more complex LC.
@@CristiBucerzan tbh, I bought the 200 for less complexity and better reliability, but then again I have seen jet 14 lc from 2019 with over 50.000km that haven't had any kind of problems with them. Maybe I chose it because 200 sounds better then 125 😂
I have it 2 weeks now and only positive i have to say For this scooter.. Any tips For the first 1000 km?
Just take it easy on it. I did my brake in service at 500km when I changed the engine and transmission oils, after that fun and games. And my service intervals are every 2500km. It's going to be a bit challenging for me this summer because I am planning trips longer than 2500km so I will have to do oil changes on the road :)
@@RideWithAlex wow long trip..i hope its ok to drive long distances because is a/c but i read some of your comment that you drive in 40 deg without a problem so i buy it without second thought i do about 60 klm per Day and its perfect
@@tasoskavvadas6913 haven't had any kind of problems with engine heat, and in the summer at 40 degrees Celsius I did try to overheat it by riding like an idiot for about 5-6 hours while doing deliveries and I couldn't.

Hello from Greece, I bought a used sym ,3000 km on odometer, and I feel vibrations when the engine runs and I'm stop, even more when I'm with 2 person,.Are the vibrations reduced when the engine make more km,or this is the way it works???????
It has some vibrations at idle but take it to a mechanic to check it.
@@RideWithAlex I go and he told that the scooter is still new with low km and the vibrations are going to be less when the km is more.

Hey alex.can i open the seat with the engine on?
Hey, unfortunately no, because the seat opener is from the key.
@@RideWithAlex i hoped there is something.one little bad thing to this scooter.thnx 👍
Is this the same as the kymco but relabelled?
It has nothing in comon with kymco.
Buna Alex. Cum se descurca cu doi pasageri? 87 kg + 65 kg?
This scooter for people 190cm tall? This or kymco people 200i?
At that height you have to sit on them and see how you like them
I m on that height, no problems with st although i would prefer if the seat cutt for the passenger was a little cm father back.
How much in greece st200
Check with your local dealer
I think that the back tyer is 14inch
It's a 14 inch rim on the back with a fat tyre and has the same circumference as the front 16 does.
Seems to me it is like my SYM Fiddle 4 but with bigger wheels and a more sporty look.

Yeah, when it comes to tires sym has cut corners, are only good to go to the tire shop and only if it's dry out.. Be careful guys.

Good for you.
Alex, can you suggest any measures to diminished the vibrations and when i sit, the vibration sound from the bag is awful and becomes more intense!!
How can i improve this? Any ideas;
No ideea mine also vibrates, I just listen to music in my helmet.
@@RideWithAlex Thanks! You think that if I remove bag, vibration will come down; A little bit maybe?
From the shop they said that bag needs some kind of tape which diminish the sound from vibrations..
Thanks,
