- It's Miss New York USA weekend!! I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend the pageant in support of my friend Suriah, as well as all of the ladies who took to the stage. The pageant was held at the Purchase College Performing Arts Center and it was a beautiful production. I'm sharing the entire experience in this vlog, from getting ready for the pageant and traveling there, to my favorite performances of the night. I hope you enjoy this special vlog!

Love watching your vlogs where you're out and about and active. Also the women in Miss New York looks like a very diverse group of women that I don't often see good on them.

New York is always very competitive. It's a shame WE don't have a miss USA from New-York for so long. I Can even remember the last time New-York took the crown
It is so competitive, similar to California because of the large numbers. As a judge it becomes to tough to remember your favorite contestants.
Shanna Moakler represented New York in 1995 and as First Runner Up wore the crown after Chelsi Smith from Texas won the Miss Universe title. Shanna was the last Miss New York to wear the Miss USA crown.
I was a judge! Hardest judging process Ive ever experienced. So many beautiful women competed and so many could wear that crown!
Right!?! There's no shortage of beauty and intelligence in NY.

Loved this video Dani ! What do you use to take off your make up in the end ?
Thank you! I used a few things. When I wear heavy makeup, I double cleanse to avoid breakouts. I take off my mascara with baby oil then I use the Elemis cleansing balm for the first cleanse (linked in video products) After that I do a second cleanse with a gentle cleanser. This time I used elf's basic cleanser with my Foreo for some extra gentle exfoliation.

Love this Vlog! What did you use to take off your eye makeup at the end of the video??
I use a few things. I do a double cleanse with an oil base then water base. I love Elemis cleansing balm but it's pricey, so I just found the bioderma cleansing oil and I'm obsessed. Same result but way more affordable. Then I use any basic cleanser, usually the Elf cleanser.

It’s sad because I love Rachelle Di Stasio who won but I love Zoe Mcgrady too.

I fully admit to knowing next-to-nothing about pageants, but I'm fully over the slinky, nearly shear, silver and gold gowns. I know they highlight the figure, but they are all the same and to me the contestants with pops of color are what make me take a second look.
