    I made this today in my crockpot. My husband loved it! I marinated it over night and added some cream! Thanks for the recipe 😁

    I was looking for something quicker. But looks good if one has time.

    Please add dried crushed fenugreek leaf about 2-3 tbsp and verry little fresh coriander with finely chop ginger julienne ..it will increase the flavours ..but dont overdo them

    There are measurements for everything but the Greek yogurt. How many cups or ounces? Thank you.

    what can I use instead of the hand blender?

      Regular blender or you could eliminate the blending step. Your sauce would have a different consistency, but still taste the same. Thank you.

    I couldn’t find garam masala at my nearest grocery or Walmart store ! Do I really need it to make a good butter chicken 😭 I need help !

      Hi Adriana, you could try using curry powder. The flavour will not be the same as if you used garam masala. Garam masala has become quite popular and most larger grocery stores do carry it, or it could likely be ordered online.

      Check stores that specialize in foreign spices. Kroger probably has it

      adriana escanuela find a Indian grocery store or Kroger, if you have one near you, has a decent spice section. I’m actually surprised Walmart doesn’t have it. Most stores are carrying more Indian cooking supplies like Basmati rice, ghee and garam masala. If all else fails, you can make your own. Just search easy garam masala. Good luck👍🏻

    Can you replace the coconut milk with something that doesn't taste like coconut? like regular milk or heavy cream?

    • @manitobachicken
      @manitobachicken 8 років тому +2

      The coconut flavour is not noticeable because of the curry paste and other seasonings. You could substitute cream for the coconut milk but the sauce may separate in the slow cooker. It will still be very tasty.

      Alright. And how big of a slow cooker does this take? I'm terrible at estimating this kind of stuff.

    • @manitobachicken
      @manitobachicken 8 років тому

      The slow cooker in the video is a large one, 6 quarts (6 L) or more. If your slow cooker is smaller you might have to cut the recipe in half.
