Was there any specific reason Mrs. Evans wasn’t much recognized or seen on many of the broadcast services? For years I’ve always noticed many of the members had their “staple” seats in the church. However, Mrs. Evans was only seen on certain broadcast! I’ve always wondered why that was.
Well majority of the time Ma Mae as we called her, was taking care of the home. You see on Sundays and even throughout the week many guests came through the house, she was always cooking for them. Celebrities, politicians, preachers, pastors, mayors, presidents etc would come by, she would be there. Some other special engagements that may have happened, meetings etc. she took care of a lot of things. So if she wasn’t at church she was busy busy at the house before she got sick years later.
Brandon, she was content and secure in her service to her husband, children, and the church.
She was a pretty lady.
