Finally got to ride it. The door opening and closing is loud and the button should be allowed to be pressed before the door opens. It is smooth but it sways quite a bit between Leederville and Perth. Also noticed that the lights dim and brighten randomly
I feel like every b series have a different tone for when the doors are closing also there was a time when i was on the train and one door didn't make a sound when closing
Or another hack with greenwood stn is that over the bridge of the Mitchell freeway there is a child care centre with a park that has all day parking and is only a 5 to 10 walk to greenwood stn and none does it!
Exactly lol, and these places are free so it's even better. Really not that much of a hassle for those few extra minutes to find a space if you need to.
No most platforms are 150m but the B-series coupled are around 144 but that just leaves a few metres gap on each side. I believe the C is almost the same at 143.5 or so, so it's not really a noticeable difference.
@Transperth3359 I don't know... Just compare the timetable and app and see where the untimetabled trips are. But sometimes it just doesn't come up at all and we just have to wait and see on Monday.
I found this UA-cam on old Perth railways ua-cam.com/video/emoAFioS0dI/v-deo.html Maybe you’ve seen it. If not you’ll find it amusing So much change What was funny to me was no health and safety Train doors left open at all times
Great work mate, keep it up! Love your channel!! ❤🎉🎉❤❤
3:06 how can you tell if it's a C Series on rail car allocations if it's 6cars like the average B series?
It is running as an unscheduled service so you check all the times listed and whichever of those times is not on the normal timetable is the C-Series.
Ahh ok @TransportofPerth
Sounds just like Paris's new RER NG trainsets !!!!
I saw 126 to clarkson on the shutdown and the c series as the very next train!
Just like it was here!
@@TransportofPerth wow and i saw it on the same day but i saw it around like 6pm
@@TheRetroReboot It wasn't running at 6? Stopped after this was filmed at 12 and came back out at 9PM.

Do you think the information display will be updated? Blue seems odd
I think the colour will remain but they might add more information to it.

Well obviously they do. Errors with the door sounds like that are common on the B-series.
@@TransportofPerth really I didn't know that
@TransportofPerth are you going to be at the Bayswater Train Station Street Festival tomorrow?
Yes
@@TransportofPerth Nice. Me and my support worker, Neil's friend are going to be there too 😃.

Will TP2706 Be Repaired After The Crash Or Is It Totaled?
Is that announcement at the depot change normally that voice?
Yes
@@TransportofPerth interesting, I’ve never heard the voice before

@@TransportofPerthI think it also plays for the extremely rare Pleas move down the rail car announcement
Still haven’t seen it on the tracks
Well it's running with this more midday schedule now so it's easier to spot than before when it was only running early morning.

When is metronet going to offering the new tran to Bunbury on the new Australin
Once the Armadale Line reopens in mid 2025.
so are the B series exactly the size of the platform because the c series seem smaller than the platform
I don’t get why they made the c series slightly shorter than the b series

@@AFLandTPgirl The C's are shorter because they don't have a centre coupler in a 6 car set.
