Big updates are coming to path of titans in 2024, with the introduction of the new hot patching system and the recent update on the PTB we know already this years going to be good, but what is there coming this year? Well you can expect: New Skins, More playables, New emotes, new achievements, new gamemodes and more!

What do you think about Path of Titans?
Path of Titans is an upcoming MMO RPG Dinosaur survival game, created by Alderon Games. The game has been in production for just over a year and is already looking set to become one of the most successful dinosaur games of all time.
Path of Titans is set to enter early access in September 2020 and has already racked up over $300,000 from crowdfunding. It has an extremely dedicated community and a dedicated team of developers who are providing huge amounts of content for us.

A feature that I would really want to see is a slider that lets you kind of combine details from two different skins so you can have a little bit of features of both. That way it gives you a level customization that doesn't make you a carbon copy of somebody else that already has that skin
There's over 50 color combinations for every single skin bu..., try being original
@@joeloweryourexpectationsbiden you have to admit, there are popular skins that are used more often than others. Not every skin is considered as highly as others
@Grimfate013 unfortunately this seems a real waste of development time. There are enough options regarding skin customizing. (For now) I agree at some point maybe address this but there are way more things missing from this game.
I think it would be cool to mix quests and AI at first, like a mission to track an ai dinosaur, or defend yourself from ai attackers, or fight over food

Climbing is cool but gliding with be utterly useless unless they add a map with a whole bunch of big tree with branches you can actually climb on, until then i'd rather have rhamphorhynchus tbh.

Isn't that basically what Laten is... they are releasing way too many dinosaurs the roster is too big.
And 80% of the currently existing dinos don't even feel unique
Allo just needs its abilities, bro is famished. I hope they also do a texture update on allo and a few of the older models, given that the skin textures of the newer dinosaurs is very high quality

Allo is almost guaranteed to get a remodel or texture update since its the oldest dinosaur in the game
I cannot thank you enough for presenting us with all of these updates. Although I hope Allosaurus doesn’t get a remodel because it’s perfect the way it is. And I’m also excited for Bars, lambeo, and struth for their remake

Ive always enjoyed doing it, although i do hope to one day do more gameplay videos, but that time will come!
Allo i think perhaps could get just a small texture update? make it look more up to date texture wise, but nothing massive!
Allo could benefit from a texture update for a bit scalier of skin, but the model itself is awesome. If they do update its model, I’d bet it’d be small tweaks, like a more defined head shape…
I'd like a rework on its kit though... Like conc bleed buffs normal damage
Allo's model is great, but I'm sure they could make it even more amazing than it already is
Stegosaurus desperately needs a complete remodel. It's disappointing that they used Sophie, a sub adult Stego, to model an adult Stegosaurus
Not my list or expectations but i do hope Achillobator and Microraptor will come as soon as possible. I love them and absolutely cant wait to be a silly little tree climber
Ai quest givers and unlockable achievements sound super exciting as well! really can't wait to see that come into the game
I want the Dino sim feeling. I feel like they are going for a more arcade feeling
I feel the same. It’s a little frustrating because when they announced the kickstarter they made it sound like they were going to go more towards a realistic dinosaur experience with some quality of life changes from the isle. But most servers just turn into a giant apex orgy in the center of the map.
@@TheLoneLlama I thought the same thing too, until I eventually came to terms with it and got used to it. But I had to think about it recently when I saw other dinosaur games. It's much more of a feeling of being a real dinosaur that has to survive and many features are closer to reality than in Path of Titans. I like Pot but I wish it could do more with simulation and more realistic , it just has so much potential. I think the reason for the "arcade" direction is the commercial side, it can be sold to a wider audience, including children. You can notice that if you look other games that are less brutal without or less blood.
This is the reason I choose to play realism servers instead of one’s with light rules. You actually find people all across the map, no getting killed by mega packs of mixpacking carnis or carebearing herbivores.. some servers even have bots that can be used to simulate nesting. It’s just more fun this way in my opinion. If you’re ever looking to get more into the survival/nature aspect of pot this is a good way to do it.

Iggy, struthi, and, stego deserve more abilities.
I wonder what miragaia will have for attacks; hopefully, it won’t be just a smaller stego/bigger kentro. They should add in more small/medium herbis, because there are currently only two 1-slots and two 2-slots. Herbis need more variety!
Amarga will hopefully receive major buffs (it should be a sub apex (4 slot) imo, with stats to back it up) later this year too. You hardly see any lambs, iggys, or amargas…
I get the distinct feeling Microraptor will be the very last playable to release, possibly late 2025
A bit of a more scalier look for the Meg and updated allo skin would be very cool. I also feel like the alio could have more feathered fur like the hatz shoulders.
I think that we might get microraptor this year, but I only have one reason for believing that, and that is I’ve heard many times that the pounce mechanism would be an important part of Microraptor’s production and we already have it. It seems pretty logical to me that they’d at least start on microraptor this year since we have the pounce mechanic.
I think that the pounce mechanic is said to be necessary because it would be used to latch onto trees and not just dinosaurs, and if that is the case, then it would also be safe to assume that microraptor would possibly have pounce right at the start. I could be wrong, though, since the raptors we already have need to buy pounce, so the climbing and latching on thing could be separate from pounce.
I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high since I might have to wait another year or two, but I’m very excited for microraptor to come to the game. What do you guys think microraptor will be like?
I agree with you regarding pounce, i think it would be great, imagine being able to hatch a ride on the sides / backs of dinosaurs as a micro, would be useless damage wise, but more so just to run around and ride people!

I wouldn’t recommend it, you’d be dead by time you’re halfway through the video
we definitely need new herbivores added into PoT. So far the majority of the new dinos that are coming this year are carnis, leaving only miragaia as the new herbivore. i think there should be an equal or at least near equal balance with herbivores and carnivores, so it’s fair for everyone!
Balancing certain dinosaurs is currently my only real problem I have with the game that, and lack of biodiversity in certain regions of both maps.
i wanna see some kinda semi aquatic herbi (not deinocheirus) - like a conca sized thing that eats lakeweed

If I have to be honest with y'all, I really hope that the next creature bundle will be made for beginners and for poor mobile players
Like a sort of starter pack 2.
In fact if u think about it ramphoryncus and microraptor are kinda small compared to the roster so it would make sense to have them in a beginner bundle for free.
This bundle could have miragaia and achillobator as well for a reason: introducing mid-large Dinos to mobile beginners while the other 2 could be the perfect beginner fliers/gliders
I don't know why anyone would include Hatzegopterix in a Seafarer's Bundle of any sort when it can't dive. It can't even take off out of the water.
I sooo can't wait for the nesting mechanic, ai dinosaurs and the new flyers especially the microraptor with the climbing and gliding mechanic to be honest 🙏😇🙏😇

This might be me, but I wouldn’t like if they added a “quest giver” I just thinks that’s a little weird, but I’m all for ai dinos to fight

I think one of the packs should be called tiny and the titans having both the smallest and largest official creatures in the game
I hope we get most of the playables this year but at the same time idk if its just too much to ask i mean they have so many things planned for this year like new gamemodes, remodels, map updates, new abilities, all kinds of bug fixes and the quest system revamp
I know they just added it, but they half-assed the hatzegopteryx model and i hope they give it some more detail.
Still my most forward to feature isnt mentioned when can we transfer dinos between maps? My hypothesis is that when all flyers and aquatics release they will bring them to panjura with a remodeled map for aquatics.
So it's only 3 pterosaurs and 4 aquatic? man, i thought there will be much much more things in sky and oceans

One thing, I kinda liked about the isle was tbe ability to customize skin. Always wish pots had that ability

I'm definitely most excited for microraptor, although I'm hoping for it to have power flight or atleast a little bit since they did fly when they were alive. plus the skin possibilities are endless, and I wanna see what they come up with

Speaking of rebalance/reworking dinos, i wish they would give more details on finishing many of the herbivore species. Seems like herbs are always getting nerfed into oblivion, and most of them have unfinished kits. Ive only been playing for a couple months now, but you hardly ever see herbivore players. Honestly i think its because most of the herbs are either unfinished or just dont have anything good going for them.
You forgot to mention that the micro will be able to mimic other dino calls

We can see that the devs care about the game and we really appreciate it. But AI dinosaurs should be the top priority. Most players wont care about "capture the egg" and things like that.
I'd swap micro and leeds. Micro's climbing (and to a lesser extent, gliding) doesn't have an analog within the game already to draw upon, they'd have to create it from scratch on top of the new model etc. I agree with Achillo and Mira for most likely, for sure.
There have been 4 dino releases in a row that were not purely land Dinos. This tells me that the last aquatic and flying dino will be released before achillobator and miragaia
me being a huge jp fan i was really hoping for the pterodactyl, i want another flyer like thal but something to kinda spice up the game a bit.
I know there’s supposed to be a mystery dinosaur as well, I hope that appears in the next dinosaur pack
Micro would be a fun dino to play, but since it has a unique lifestyle maybe will be released later.

I dont mind them making a new quest system as long as these quests are not too hard to complete. I dont want quests that are so difficult they take forever to complete or cannot be completed with a reasonable amount of effort

I have not no, it’s something that happens sometimes in games, the devs will fix it by time I have a video discussing it. Maybe a Short form video would suffice but there’s no info on what’s causing it
Would love to see more aquatics. An official shark would be great. The ocean has amazing scenes.

Personally, I think we have plenty of land based but not enough sea based. Reason why.....there's only 2 full aquatics. I'd love for Tylosaurus, Megalodon, Hyneria, Hynerpeton, Dunkleosteus, or even Predator X to be officially added as playable
I hope at least some of the gather quests remain. I find they’re a nice little thing to do when I just want to chill. They’re kind of… relaxing? Comforting? I can’t think of the word. X3
Anyway, I’m looking forward to Ramphorhynchus and Microraptor. I love me some fast smalls-and flying! I personally have no interest in the good modes, but I hope it will help keep the toxic and overly aggressive people away from the survival modes, and those who play for fun.
Also excited for new skins! Although it would be nice if we could pick our own colors instead of set ones. There are many patterns I like but not the colors. It’s especially annoying when the options are just slight variations of a color, like, light gray, barely different light gray, medium gray, weird greenish dark gray, ugly brownish gray.
POT needs more herbivores and AI dinos for carnis to eat!! The major of all the dinos (land, flying, and ocean) are all carnivores. They need to balance herbies & carnis more because this overflow of carni dinos is part od the reason why playing herbie is stressful when everything wants to hunt for food.
Ramp and achillo should come this Miragaia is the last herb to come to the game that an official i feel like since we are also running out of official dinos they should also surprise us with what the backer dino is as well

I assume theyll have to make a multiplayer mode for just aquatics since they can't play these game modes with the other dinos.
Ngl I feel like we need more ocean & flyer playables than land terrestrial playables. Only because we now have just have 2. & personal I feel another pack with the 2 remaining flyers & ocean animals would be better
We need Titanosaur or argentinosaurus or Giraffatitan - some big Sauropod 🦕 and for medium herbivore we need Parasaurolophus and Ouranosauros and for a new carnivore it would be Nice whit Majungasaurus !
