@@moshezuchter - so far was just playing along with you getting an idea and an ear for the blues scale helping me practice muscle memory with my button (bayan) accordion. I plan on coming back to listen a few more times. Then will try to begin transposing keys and working around with it. Thanks again.

Tanks for this lesson Ronen! However, what about the left hand ? How should we play it ?

Hi Mia! Check out the lesson on the site... There are different bass "patterns" you can play, though I prefer to just play the backing chords

Excelent video! My kids say “hey Dad, now you know how to play the blues!” Jajajjajajaj. Tell me please, what about the left hand?

      That's awesome!!
Left hand can do a number of things - an oom-pa pattern, or a "blues" pattern.
I have more detailed lessons about both here:

      C E G A Bb A G E as a pattern on C, and with C F and G, you could play the blues 12 bar: C C C C F F C C G F C C

Great video, hopefully you have more on blues and swing theme. Two stupid questions: in the C scale, C, Eb, F, F#, G, Bb and C. So i guess there is no meaning to play 3 chord (maj/min) by composing with these scale? And strictly speaking, e.g. as if I should assume D (in C scale) doesn't exist at all? as if C, Eb, F, F#, G and Bb are the only keys are pressable?? I saw there is a term, as blue Call and Response, could you give us some typical Call/Response of that? or maybe how to improvise them easily? Thanks a lot!

Hi Joseph, so in general the scale is a *suggestion*. They are the main sounds that will sound good when playing the blues. However, I would say try out the D and see if and when it fits. I think it sounds great!
