Kayla!! If you haven’t read “Being There Why prioritizing being there in the first three years matters” by Erica Komisar you totally should!! It’s soooo amazing and REALLY emphasizes just HOW important being a mother is and how important the mother baby bond is! ❤❤ it’s a really eye opening book! I found it from the Lila Rose podcast when Erica guest stared!

Sean’s baby face is giving me baby fever for #3 Oh, I love our co/op it’s so necessary as a homeschool mom! Just a heads up about the Yoto Minj, we have one and there is a recall for the cord. It’s caused fire/burn to children so you have to reach out about a new charging cord. I was super bummed as I’d been charging my daughters by her bed!
My son is 3 and is the same way. No interest ininterest in matters yet, but he just got an interest in numbers. When do you find time to homeschool with Sean? Is it during his nap? You’re rocking it girl! I too to and my daughter is working in the beginning of the Kindergarten Good and Beautiful. Did Riley learn to read that well with the Good and the Beautiful curriculum? Is she working through 1st grade one?

Sean's legs are definitely delicious❤ I miss those baby squishiness! His face lights up when he sees Joe which is so adorable too. So proud of you Kayla for getting out for your kids. I know it's definitely harder with more kids but I'm sure the kids really loved it.

Just follow a curriculum for their age. Do some research and find out which one works best with your daughter’s learning style.

Hi Kayla, this is Lukie, So cool you got to get the kids out to the country and that you are learning to get out there on your own with the children. I just got back from a 3 mile walk with my son up in the mountains of Santa Cruz. I'm 70 and my son will be 50 this year. We had so much fun. Along out walk, we came across a rock garden. It was beautiful. This was up in the UCSC grounds. It was beautiful and I'm very happy 'cause I did my daily walk which was especially awesome. 🌴

Just a reminder, try not to use Shawn for an excuse to leave. The kids will learn that Shawn gets more attention and that everything revolves around Shawn. Try and reframe “we had a great time now let’s get home and have lunch since we’re all tired from playing”

the kids eat a lot of sugar too to be honest- fewer "snacks" in the house would be great- just make snacks from real foods!!!!!

Second, my little one was watching boss baby the other day, you might want to listen to the words one time with them..I was shocked at certain parts of it, insinuating things that should not be in a kids movie. I won't let her watch it now. Just a heads up cause I feel like you would feel the same way
Boss baby is rated pg that means there is material that isn’t suitable for children. Y is for children.
It’s PG. that means parental guidance. I mean in reality a child shouldn’t be watching anything alone though even if it’s rated below pg.
