Girl! You've helped me out a lot! I'm glad you mentioned lesson & ski bundles, versus just buying Lift Tickets when we won't know what we're doing! You also gave pricing for rentals and the types, very niche appreciate that! I'm planning out a trip for as my boyfriend's surprise birthday 😄 because he's always wanted to go skiing! He's the more nimble one between the two of us, so I get the feeling he'd pick up on it quicker. Lessons ain't never hurt nobody though and I wanna have fun and part of that is for sure knowing what I'm doing! Thank you so much for sharing your exp experience and the insight you've given. It's been really helpful!
thank you so much for taking the time to write this! It means a lot, and yes you'll definitely have a more enjoyable experience If you get a lesson because it can be a bit overwhelming if you have never skied or done winter sports before we were completely lost at one point but I hope you enjoy your trip and I'm so excited to hear how it goes!! Thanks for the support!
Thank you! You absolutely confirmed it for me that I will be paying for lessons. ❤ im planning for my first ski trip there and looking forward to it. 🥰 thanks.
The bunny slope is the hardest one bc you have to do all the work to move. If you’re on a slope gravity does the work for you. Also if you fall, it’s easier to get back up on an incline opposed to a flat surface.
Thanks. I was glancing around online and It looked pretty confusing for someone like me that has never skied in there life. I found lodging, but there was no mention of package deals with rentals, lifts, etc. I've got a lot to learn before I head to Colorado.
@@mathewdavis-adventuresandd6643 it was the same for me, it was a bit confusing but definitely book a class and call ahead of time you won’t need a ski lift pass but a pass to get on the mountain itself so hopefully that’s all you need but i hope you have the best time! Just remember to have fun even if your just learning!
I appreciate this video so much. I am trying to prepare, but EVERY video just tells you all of these mountains... but I am like I don't even know where to get lessons. This video helps, I will rewatch it as I try to prepare/decide if I want to ski. Almost just want to ride the free parking/gondola and walk around. I too am terrified.
im glad it helped!! That's why I make these videos, I was a bit lost but I'm glad you don't have to be!! Let me know how it goes and if you have any more questions!
@@DoseofDaz we are going in early April and we'll definitely be getting everything set up prior to getting there. We live in Florida and have never snowboarded before so we are very excited.
@@ScurvyRelics your going to love it such An amazing place but definitely take classes but you’ll enjoy the snow and check out the ice castles as well! Snowmobiling if you can too!! ua-cam.com/video/rvqNuWw8cCs/v-deo.html
@@joyoverton3579 I’m so sorry i wish i did but it’s not that bad up there sometimes you feel the pressure and have to take deep breaths but it’s not that bad
lifts usually take you to the intermediate or advanced slops so I would say no just try to book a class and learn the basics first , there is a lift from the parking lot that takes you to the slopes and top of the hill but lifts to ski as a beginner I would not.
There is absolutely no shame as a beginner in going to a couple of days of ski school. Anyone who is starting out should do so at least for a couple of days. Skiing or snowboarding is not something you should try to teach yourself.
I remember I paid $20 to learn it in a resort in snowshoe (west Virginia ) but I didn't learn anything😂 the best thing is to try it you're sure to fall several times, but by the fourth lap I was already skiing without falling . ⛷️ Tip: rent a smaller ski because it is easier to maneuvering 👍🏻
You don’t know how much this has helped us with our upcoming trip. Going to book first thing in the morning for ski lessons.
ohhh im glad!!! yes you'll enjoy the experience much more sorry for the late response hope the trip was fun!
planning a first ever ski trip..never seen snow before...(I'm from the Caribbean) this video helps allot!
You’ll like it!!! It’s a beautiful place to visit just be prepared take lessons but you’ll have a great time
Lol same!
Wow! This video was soooo helpful! I'm trying to plan a ski trip for myself and my friends and I feel so much more prepared now. Thanks girl!!

Is she talking about Breckenridge, CO? I have never been to Breckridge???
awesome vid! quick question can you get to the beginner area without buying a lift ticket?
I was wondering the same thing
im a very lucky thirteen year old to be able to ski this so early in my life and being able to ski most of these trails its amazing there
In europe 3 years old is the average starting point of skiing journey
Cool! Going in December will book very soon!
Great!
I really want to go but I’m scared of heights! Idk if I can do the lift or gondola 😳😂
Thank you so much for all the information.
Any advice on how to cope with breathing techniques due to the altitude?

Hi Daz, do we even require lift tickets as first timers?
I also would like to know.
no we didnt need any
Wow definitely gotta try it 👌🏼
Maybe we should go next time!
Amazing video
Thank you appreciate the support!
Love your videos!
Thank you love!!! Means a lot to have that comment right when it drops means a lot🙏🏽💕
So, first time skier, do I not get a lift?
lifts usually take you to the intermediate or advanced slops so I would say no just try to book a class and learn the basics first , there is a lift from the parking lot that takes you to the slopes and top of the hill but lifts to ski as a beginner I would not.
How does one get up there without a 4WD?
your smile is so cute🥰
Can we not get lift ticket and get only rental? For beginner ?
you would have to check the website for updated prices and information
At 2:56 and I thought French lines were bad. Yikes. 😳
Thanks for sharing
Thank you !
Good info

no you do not if your not going on the intermediate or advanced sloops, the gondola that takes you to the ski mountain you do though
What time of year is this?
This was in about November I believe
