If I’m being honest, I don’t like the wall. It feels meaningless and redundant since the red building is already a watchtower. However, I do love the fact that you built another stand!
I like the wall. It creates a boundary and a set piece for invaders to try to breach the battlements and then with defenders scrambling to repel it. Lots of display options there. It would be nice if the wall connected to a gate (with guards checking for entry) leading to the square proper.
the wall only makes sense if you plane to enclose the whole village in a wall/gatehouse with the lion knights castle as a keep. which is my goal someday
This is excellent! I always thought that grey building looked a little out of place in the original set, but incorporating the wall and tower makes so much sense. This has given me ideas to upgrade my own medieval village. Many thanks!
I plan on upgrading this when I get it, but I had different plants now this gives me a lot of ideas! Especially since I thought the inn side needed the most work and want to separate the 2 buildings. But now I see how well the other side can be improved and I really like the bigger market area. It makes the set feel more cohesive than a bunch of small floating pieces around... It just is such a beautiful set....
This is a great upgrade. Don't like that the buildings added to the wall have less accesibility, but it looks way better on the outside. I think we need a refit for the Inn and connection from the inn tower to the wall.
I love all the improvements! However, I don't like the original tavern building, not with the 2 halves not matching in style and content and the lack of stairs to the third floor. I think we could split it into 2 different snd more coerente close-back buildings
Its a cool upgrade, but it makes the set that much more expensive. Not everything Lego puts out needs to be an expert level set. I personally think the set is great as is and mostly just suffers due to the nostalgia people have for the old village set.
I love the changes. Now this set I would buy!
Quite impressive upgrade, it makes an already great set IMO even better. Love your videos, many thanks.
Thanks Marc, I appreciate it and I agree!
it's improved a lot👍, much larger and also more playable with other minifigs

This looks great. Put some red roofs on it and it would be Lego Murten, Switzerland
100% love this build it is much better than the original, the original did not fit into the lion castle or black smith and looked abit odd
你好我是名台灣人
很喜歡妳的moc 想複刻出來請問還需要購買其他磚塊嗎?
@@謝明富-t1o 多謝!有啊,你會當佇影片描述內底找到MOC的連結

Post a video of that with the castle’
Sure, if you sponsor the castle ;)
Too many extra bricks needed from Bricklink. How about combining 2 sets into one?
