I am a huge fan of Toni and this album, I’m so glad its finally available for streaming! That being said I personally think saying it was AHEAD of it’s time might be a bit inaccurate cause that whole Scott Storch vibe is very 2005 the year the album came out….i think anyone who was around then could listen to this song/album and know exactly when it came out….but it’s still great!

The song is pretty much in the same vein as He wasn't man enough. If you play them back to back it has almost the same sound and they go right into each other. Same key and cadence. So I would say no to that. This was very much an early to mid 2000s sound.
