I've listened to music all my life, and sang for half of it. Everything from Priest to Zep, to Ozzy to Fates Warning.....I have rarely...ever... heard a more anguished vocal in my life. Just beautiful and haunting!!! Wonderful!!
The emotions in this song are indeed overwhelming and I endlessly love it. If you want to listen to something else just as anguished, try Grift - Den Stora Tystnaden. It's a different style and the vocals are neither purely harsh nor purely clean. I was trying to think of a band with clean vocals of the same caliber but I couldn't think of any) Upd: Urfaust - Der Einsiedler.
