I use it for gaming most of the time, and I can say that I am very satisfied with the phone. Battery life, processing speed, etc are all good imho.
One thing I don't like too much is the sound tuning.

The assembly of this video is really clean and organized, kudos to ASUS for that unlike a certain korean manufacturer.
Very difficult to open back cover. I have tried many times with spudger. I wish phone companies make the back cover easier to open for regular users.
Update: I finally managed to open. Tip: The maiin problem is that there appears 2 linings of the back cover. Not knowing from which linimg to apply the spudger to open, I was trying from the second lining which is just next to touchscreen. Actually, it is the first lining that we have to apply the spudger to open. First lining means the first lining from the side of the back cover. Still, it was hard to insert the spudger in the lining to open it a little bit too gain more access. After much difficulty, I managed to open.
I suggest you to show(point) from which side to apply spudger next time you make video of opening back cover. It will be a big help.
Thank God it's not all glued together. Screen and battery replacement will be easy in the future. Great video, thanks!
Well... I came from the future to inform that screen and battery replacement got no better from the manufacturers. Also, there is less options in the market today, leading the consumers to a brand oligopoly. A massive disease pratically crashed the entire economy.

That's why when I cracked my phone's screen and it is difficult to touch, and I decided to buy online a replacement for it.
I buy screen with the frame and watching this makes it easy to transfer all the required parts of the phone and know what parts is for.

before you blame them learn some standard technical knowledge about battery's. its stated typical 5000mah. minimal is 4850mah. in production and marketing and sale battery's are always referenced with typical. but no every battery can be identical. due to physical laws and fluctuations that apply. it is always included the minimal. which here is 4850mah!

What are the optics in the 3gb and 4gb variant? Which version of Max Pro M1 you are using? It is noticed that only 4Gb Version of Max Pro M1 is having restricted shutter slow shutter speed. After clicking red eye reduction for several times developer option is enabled. But in user settings of manual exposure the slowest shutter speed is only 1/3 sec (340miliseconds) whereas 3Gb and 6Gb variants are having more than 10seconds (10000 milliseconds) shutter speed. Interestingly the ISO range also 100-1550 whereas in other two variants it is 100-1600. I could not understand if my device is faulty or all 4Gb variant having same issue or it is due to the November 15th new update(.337)? Do you guys with 4Gb variant having same issue. Please throw some light. Thanks

I think my audio IC is broken, the right channel (through 3.5mm jack) only outputing (white/pink) noise..
The speaker(buzzer) seems ok,, bluetooth also sounds clean.
But only R channel audio from 3.5mm jack is problematic.
It happen after I accidentaly connect the rca input to the power amp output...
Do you know the IC series number? It's a NXP chip right?
I can't find it online.
Or, is there any compatible IC series available?
Should I try change the daughterboard first?
