It is 1/2” starboard. It may not have been needed on my Highfield CL. I originally tried without the starboard, but I had trouble getting the studs that the wheels mount to perfectly straight when directly attached to the boat due to the slight angle variation of the drill holes. I used a drill press with the starboard to get the holes for the studs perfectly straight. If the studs were not perfectly straight, the wheels were very hard to latch on.
Can one move these from within the boat?
How much did you have to offset the base of the wheels from the transom? Ie how thick is your filler plate?
