Ovivo - Carrousel Aerator Replacement

CDSD, located in Kaysville, UT decided to replace their already 20+ year old aerators. Using a single crane, they were able to fish the old impeller out and the new impeller in. The unit is currently up and running, delivering fantastic aeration and mixing to their biological basin. They will be adding the lower impeller in the near future...
Eimco Water Technologies supplied the aerator.

All in all, it took about 4 hours to remove and then another 4 hours to install (on a different day). Great question.

As a young engineer, I really appreciate your videos! I spend most of my time in my cubicle so it helps to be able to see stuff like this. Thank you! Just curious, about how long did the replacement take (including removal of the old aerators)?
