I could see rayle after getting luffy in this story finding out where ace was and picking him up and training Luffy and ace to gather and when ace faced off against white beard he and his crow managing to escape him and not joining him and white beard realizing that he had to have been trained by rayle and you could throw soba in for good measure 😊

Rayle would have Recognized luffy's sir name and he might have even asked luffy if he was garp's grandson which I could see Luffy saying yeap I am and his asking Rayle if he knows his grandpa and Rayle saying yeap I do and rayle deciding to stay in town for a while to train luffy 😊

There is evidence that shanks knew the truth about the gum gum devil fruit and that it was in fact the sun God devil fruit and just realized it was Luffy's destiny to eat it and probably because joyboy 😊
