Nikki - thanks for making and modeling the Kendricks! Hey June is an instant-buy company for me, where I will automatically purchase a pattern whenever Adrianna releases a new one. Aside from her excellent drafting and style sense, she does a great job of breaking the process for things like fly construction, button plackets, and collars into manageable steps, with clear diagrams. And I, too, have randomly found myself in love with that golden ochre color, which I never EVER thought I'd wear! Rachel - those are AWESOME boots!
Love both styles! Great job! Look great on you both. Love that ruffled blouse with the V neckline with those bibs-and also love the high neck sweater with the Kendrick!! Very nice!! Stay your sweet selves, and I look forward to seeing you again soon, I hope!
Hooray!! I was so excited to see you girls with a new video. I feel like you two are my gal pals and miss you when I don't see you. Funny that but true! Thanks for brightening my day and inspiring me to sew. I have made three outfits so far in October, a pair of elastic-waisted cropped pants and blazer, both Vogue easy sew and a robe for my daughter. Love you guys!!
Rachel, I suffered from horrendous menstrual pain, bloating etc and had a hysterectomy (leaving my ovaries) aged 42. It was so wonderful, such a relief!
Nikki, not sure if you could unpick the straps from the back, but anytime you can cross straps in the back they fit and feel much better without the constant adjustments. Hope you can try this just for the comfort. You might have to angle the straps a bit at the waist before resewing them but they should feel infinitely better. ;)
Thanks for sharing your makes ladies. I have the Jenny overalls pattern but have been hesitant to make it. Rachel you have inspired me. Also Rachel you may have heard this before but Magnesium glycinate and B6 supplements might help with PMT and menstrual cramps when taken over time. (Dark chocolate and walnuts are also a great way of upping your magnesium levels! )
Great dungarees! I love your styling Nikki. I love that mustard color and I want that beret if it will fit on my big hair. Id love to pair it with some darker denim overalls.
For Rachel, how about the Folkwear Gibson Girl Blouse pattern? It's got that Victorian neckline you were talking about and the pin tucks are just darling.
Me too, I wanted a kind of Victorian, lacy blouse, but could not find one. In the end I decided to buy only a collar online. You know those with only a little part of a blouse attached, a bit like a bib on the front and back? (Sorry, I'm Dutch and I don't know how to describe the thing properly.) Love it! And very comfortable to wear underneath a cardigan or sweater. And really easy to sew too, if you have a basic pattern of a collar. Or you can add (lots of) lace to the collar stand only. Highly recommended. Going crazy with lace now!
Thank you for sharing your lovely makes 💕 I’m drafting a jumpsuit sewing pattern for next year and will be looking for some reviews, I might send you a pattern to see if it might be of interest for you!
Rachel, not that it matters to anyone but you but I did think you had lost a fair bit of weight recently from your Instagram posts. I really like the Jenny overalls on you. I’ve made the Jenny trousers and like them too.
I loved your video as always. You two never fail to cheer me up| But please could you not have a computer screen saver on in the background? Its really distracting
Sorry. You just lost me as a subscriber. I know we have to tolerate ads, but I refuse to watch anything that doesn’t give the option of skipping. Yours used to. Today I had to endure not one but TWO ads in their entirety. You’re great and I’ll miss watching you, but I value my time and my freedom to choose more.
Very sorry to hear that. We only ever agree to skippable ads so not sure why that happened. Perhaps we ticked the wrong box. It's a shame that our mistake made you feel you needed to unsubscribe, but we appreciate your support in the past. All the best x
I don't think UA-camrs have a choice anymore. I also chose skippable ads on my videos and it does both. Even so, I always watch the full ads on favourite channels, because that's my way of supporting channels that create amazing content like Stitch Sisters 🌸
Raylene Harvey I hear you. I too try to support channels whose work is a labour of love. Stitch Sisters is still a delightful labour of love, but has also evolved into a full-blown business. I therefore feel entitled to react to business maneuvers in a business-like manner.

I’m obsessed with dungarees and jumpsuits at the moment. I hadn’t heard of the Hey June ones. Thanks 😊 xx

The pattern I think your thinking of is Mccalls 8008. It’s an overall with a White Victorian ruffled blouse.
