His name is Adam O`Hare- I hate how the English insist on calling anyone from Ireland , north or south, Paddy. I am also disgusted that he has gone along with it, but I suppose he thought it would be better for him to say nothing, and have an easier time in the forces.
I am an ex-RAF pilot from NI myself, and I can tell you first hand when I was flying in the mid 1980`s to early 2000`s there was a very strong anti-Irish element in the UK military, especially in the RAF.
I refused to be called Paddy, it`s not my name, and it`s not a bit of banter either, it`s bigoted ignorance. "Paddy" or " Spud " was not a term of endearment, it was meant as a slur much like the " N " word is now. To see him have it on his flight suit is actually quite shocking.

@@ryanelcock948 Hi Ryan, it might seem that I am over reacting to you, but back in the dark days of the troubles, many folk from Northern Ireland got a really very hard time in the forces, and / or the Police. It ranged from name calling right up to serious violence including assault.
A colleague of mine who was an aircraft mechanic from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland was taken from his bed on the base late one night, and shot in the back of the knee, a few hours after three soldiers had been killed in a landmine attack in his home county. Those that shot the engineer believed he was passing information back to the terrorist groups, which was complete nonsense.

@@WildMorgan You need to stop your big mouth from flapping about things you have no clue about. I served my country for nearly 18years, and have been shot at, and had RPG`s fired at my aircraft. Tell me what gives you the right to tell me to grow some balls ?
You stick to Call Of Duty sunshine, you wouldn`t last two minutes in a combat situation.

In the Republic its an endearment term for Patrick. My dad came from strokestown to fight in ww2 and wasn't welcome in uk or iteland after the war..that's discrimination and inherent stupidity.

The most boring Typhoon display pilot I've ever seen. His showing as Cosford Air Show was abysmal. He let the Rafale and F16 pilots put him to shame, which is unforgiveable.
