Played against a pretty wild hacker the other day. We were 4 stacking with a pretty wide range from top of bronze to mid plat in our group. Very first round gets a double spawn peak and we thought he just got us good, but as the game went on we got skeptical after seeing a end of round kill cam. Watched replay and homie was so blatant with it we were shocked it took us as long to catch him. Love these videos
Just putting this out there, different cheats have soooo many different settings for example, walls on within certain footage, or walls display etc etc with in certain range. Cheats are at a crazy level atm! it’s absolutely ludicrous the cheats have more features then the games them selves.
I think they should put the detection barrier where the default barricade would be that way they can’t stand in a doorway and not get detected but knowing ubi they ain’t gonna
The mozzie play at 10:40 is definitely a little suspicious, but to give benefit of the doubt if this is an emerald lobby then maybe he decided “hey I’m getting swung so they’re probably trying to get the the cover in the middle of the room” and just got lucky they hit the player. We’ll have to see what happens next.

I mean it should be that way (minus the tk’ing cheaters) But the game at the time doesn’t know they are a cheater and just see “oh this guy killed his teammate.” Which to me the tk’ing in this game was ridiculous. You don’t do what someone else wanted, they’ll tk you next round. You attempt or do tk them the following round, their friends will tk you. I also hated the vote to kick as well. People abused tf outta that shit. I’ve had multiple times where an entire team voted to kick me right at the start before we even got into build phase or whatever it’s called.

As someone who started playing in Chimera teleporting cheaters were pretty much my ranked experience summed up. I was hard stuck copper 4 due to how many cheaters I ran into. Granted, I was also pretty bad back then, but I was at least better than the other people of my rank...
like you said, if you win with a cheater you lose the mmr gain. so why tk the cheater? that sets the genuine teammates back through the reputation system.
it frustrates me when people want to play ranked like "ranked" right now isn't even what I'd consider to be a ranked mode. I would rather actually have a ranked mode where you're up against the people in your own rank and where we don't need to rely on seemingly randomised algorithms that we're supposed to believe work properly because ubi said "trust me bro"
I recently started playing again and I have no clue how Ranked 2.0 shit works. I was a Low-Tier Copper being put into Champion matches with guys who have like 4850 MMR. I got absolutely rolled for days until the matchmaking leveled out a bit. It's ridiculous how often I still get stuck in matches with Very High Ranked players. Or like, one guy on the other team has literally every kill and hard carries, but our team is balanced? Like wtf?
This current ranked system sucks, and I've been hard stuck copper for many many seasons, but I found some good randos who I queue with every now and then for a few matches and I'm finally climbing up the ranks, nearing silver now with roughly 0.9 - 1.1 KD, from many seasons of brain-dead copper games on a 0.5-0.7 KD because of how unpredictable copper lobbies are, especially all the Smurfs and cheaters I've found. Since having good team mates I've improved at the game drastically over the course of Heavy Mettle and I'm so glad I can both enjoy the game and actually finally have the skill to play competently. Took me a while and I still whiff constantly but hell, my 6+ years of on and off siege are finally paying off
I quit playing altogether because of ranked 2.0. It's simply a waste of time for me to try and win 10 matches in a row to rank up in silver when all of my opponents are plat/emerald. I know I'm not great at the game, but I know I'm not a silver and I KNOW these opponents are not silver. It's literally just COD SBMM which is designed to addict the player and keep them grinding for every little rp point.
Varsity, I'm speaking out my ass here, but I'm like 85% sure when defenders get detected outside the logic is a Uav and Uav's can only from a birds eye view and can only see the roof of the building and outside of it, so since technically he's still inside the uav can't detect him so that's why those spots work on maps such as theme park
with people in doorways i agree and disagree to an extent. as someone who died from someone who was practically fully outside and not detected i agree its stupid and annoying, however one can make the argument that the attacker aerial drone above that detects people outside wouldn't see him there because of the overhang over the doorway. technically he could move all the way out as long as he was under the overhang. THAT SAID, they need to pick a lane as other maps such as, for example coastline, the entire area outside the kitchen window is covered but you totally get scanned anyway. same for when you exit any of the basement doors and windows on kanal. so, yeah if you can be detected from above through the building or a floor then how can you be all the way outside of a door and not be scanned.
This is how our matchmaking has been for all of ranked 2.0 none of us have been in emerald. We are high Plat this season in a 2-4 stack and 9/10 ranked games this season have been against at least one diamond or champ. Highest kd season have is a 1.5 but we slay the other players that our rank most games and the other team gets hard carried by their diamond/champ and we lose

The sad state of the game. Nearly every game has cheater's, subtle or otherwise. Basically Homeless' video awhile back basically ruined my motivation to ever play this game, or any fps, with around 32% of all players having cheated at some point. You never fucking know, and it sucks that I can never give people the benefit of the doubt anymore. People constantly pushing with no information, never clearing rooms, just looking exactly where you are... It gets really old really fast.
I’m currently in copper V. I have played 6 rounds. I have faced 9Platinums, 4 Emeralds, 1Diamond, 5Golds, 3Silvers and 2Copper players in the last five matches. The first match was very easy. Went 11/2 KD 4/0 win.
It’s the same typa thing on console as well. I started to see way less mouse players when they initially dropped mousetrap. But now it seems they are coming back with even more for some reason.
Yea, it's only a matter of time before xim develops a work around that spoofs whatever detection method they use. Then they're back at it. The unfortunate truth is Ubisoft has to defend against all sides and will only invest $$$ to the point that their game doesn't completely fail. Whereas cheating is a billion dollar industry with prob thousands of coders attacking it from all angles. It's an arms race and Ubisoft is only working hard enough so they aren't completely nuked. Idk if we'll ever get back to the point where cheating is rare to encounter. Current methods aren't really effective.

It doesn’t go unnoticed in match replay though. Cause in match replay if a player is using a no recoil macro the game doesnt have any mouse input to go off of to show recoil control in the replay so it will just look like the cheater isn’t controlling recoil at all and missing every shot but still getting the kill
After emerald there is no way to climb up without cheat because full of cheaters , played 5 matches yesterday and 3 game cheaters ruining the game , Ubisoft don’t care about this game
I'm a new casual player and last season I was Silver 3 and this season I'm stuck on Bronze 3 XD Win six matches I get to brone 2, lose 2 matches I'm low Bronze 3 again. I'm done playing ranks. Ubi thinks R6 ranks should go in a CV or something.
I used to play on PC for a few years, took a break for a few seasons, and have a decently fun time playing on Console. See if you like it nowadays or not, it honestly could go either way
