i love u; you've saved me... i didn't attend my engineering class that explained orthographic projection and my university's digital material was so lacking everywhere; i'm very grateful i found this video.
Daughter is freshman in engineering. Making her learn this because I’m dad engineer and had to learn this when I was a freshman 😂. Makes transitioning to Solidworks and etc. easier. Been using your lessons because I am lazy and don’t have the text books anymore. But I see a mistake in this projection that will give the machinist an aneurism. The portion where the gusset intersects the semi circular part at the top does not work as drawn. The gusset cannot intercept the top flat as drawn. The curvature will cause the edges of the gusset to extend above the top flat because of the circular intercept. The way I drew it I had the top milled to correct vertical dimension which leaves a small extension on either side of the gusset. I kept the 22mm to the circular intersection shown as a hidden line but the I slid vertical line about 1mm to show proper intersection. I didn’t measure, just projected it. BTW these lessons are great and reminds me of the pride and enjoyment I got from producing these drawings back in the day. Cheers.

Thank you so much, sir. I would like to ask something, would that be okay if I send you a 3d body and ask you to draw the Orthographic projection of it. I guess the one I have is more difficult than the one you solved. I would be delighted if you answer sir. Thank you. Best regards.
Perfect explanation thanks a lot Sir I have a question plz answer sir in side view the longer doted line what it is showing and how much distance between hidden circle in side view plz answer me I have lab evaluation
Those long vertical line represents the edge which we can't see in side view total width is 60 and those those dotted lines are 15 mm on both sides of AXIS

In this question in length take radius because distance is given till the centre line and in width we will take diameter

In some drawings the center line isn't extended to touch the border in some it is which is correct or is there a reason for the difference?
There is no reason you can draw full centre line
Thanks your for the teaching me
Excuse me sir he can you tell which is top view , front view please
Upper one is FV and lower one is TV ... It is in 1st angle method
So good 🙏🙏❤❤
Im lost sir where are you getting that side view from
Left hand side view ... you see the object from left side

I am using big scale only to draw lines dimensions are marked with yellow scale
why didnt you draw a center line by the side view for the curve or is it defined as a hidden object
you can draw
