He's the only reviewer I've seen that's been able to actually transform this figure fully into truck mode. He's also the one who was able to get the best results out of the mpm ironhide mould so def the king
There's one thing I noticed (especially with 3rd party figures), the better "looking" figures are usually more difficult or more time consuming to transform. But the ones that don't look as "nice" are usually easier and more fun to transform. It's a little interesting.
Isn’t it obvious tho since the nicer and more accurate the figure is the more engineering was done for it and more engineering=more complex design especially if we’re talking about bayformers design post DOTM with their ridiculously human like design and almost non unrecognizable vehicle kibbles

The price-difference of almost $100 didn't escape me, but it was mostly the chest proportions and the truck mode that pushed me toward Unique Toys. Toyworld has really earned their reputation for selling nice-looking but cheaply made houses of cards ever since they decided to release a 'Perfect Edition' Constructor which still sometimes breaks in the box.

The robot mode is amazing and great for display I can never get my knees to sit right in truck mode so the passenger side of the truck never tabs together right lol
I think the creators wanted to make a really realistic version of prime and they succeeded. The wind shield and wheels moving into the body, the fenders and smoke stacks wrapping around, I mean, this is some serious engineering right here! It's not very cohesive or smooth but if I imagine how AOE/TLK Prime would transform irl, I think this did it The only better figure than this would be one that takes the realistic transformation and perfects it so that it is fun as well

I still prefer challenger with the dragoon head. It is accurate enough, easy to transform, and tabs perfectly. This one is still great for display though
And being more intuitive doesn't necessarily mean better. None of the Devil Savior figures have had particularly unintuitive transformations so far, and those are still nightmares.

No where near as good as Unique toy’s Prime but the paint on it looks amazing. Still looking forward more to TMT’s take on Knight Prime which looks like the best transformable figure of that design. Alien Attack’s 2.0 Prime looks promising too, Just hope they finally improved on their QC and transformations.
This figure looks like this kind of Transformer Toy: HELL TO TRANSFORM, but its worth it. At least in my opinion (Also how I feel about Freedom Leader, but Knight Orion is another level).
If there were no qc issues and the truck mode was a bit more accurate, I would’ve chosen this over unique toys challenger, complex transformation and all. And it’d stay in robot mode for the most part
It almost looks as if ToyWorld tried to replicate the brief transformation shown in the AOE movie where Optimus had his entire arm just shoot out from where the door of the truck is supposed to be
3:3546:12 Unique Toys looks so much better. Especially in truck mode. Plus the engineering on the Unique Toys is better too. I'm good with my Unique Toys Prime 😉
Believe it or not, they copied everything from the movie, part of the transformation to the chest is almost accurate, the flaw that I can see is that his thigh armor isn't accurate, but since its for the vehicle mode I'll let it pass. the coolest part of the transformation is that the back wheels with the fenders are the back of Optimus' legs simulating muscles, and that is cool.
I feel like Unique toys Megatron looks pretty good with this Optimus, especially if you can give it weathering to match. Granted it's not perfect, but it's the closest we've got until Toyworld makes their own Last Knight Megatron.
As someone who considers himself a veteran of insane transformations (MP-05, ROTF Prime, Apollyon, TE-01, MP-36, MP-44, Studio Cell, etc.), I have to say that the process of forming the robot mode chest made my brain hurt just watching it lol

There's a new version of the Unique Toys Optimus Prime coming out called UTR02D Battle Damaged version and it looks better than the ToyWorld version thanks to the new weathering paint effect.
