The problem with shotguns in the Arena is you don't do much vs the lizard nest. So you either have someone on your team to do it for you or you just lose.
Imagine how crazy it really would be if most of your hits would actually register. There's been so many hits on video where your crosshair is clearly on target and from fairly close range yet it does no damage whatsoever... You would've died a lot less too
its a known bug, when you run and shoot the gun doesnt actually shoot which happened to rubbertaco a few times in this video, you can even see your bullets dont go down when you run and shoot. imo they just shouldnt let you shoot at all if thats intended, its stupid af. but also yeah the hitreg sucks too.
