For those who want to know why I choose Tiago over Swift and Nios. Here's why. At the time, what Tiago was offering within 6.5 lakhs compared to Swift and Nios was world's apart. I needed rear window wiper and defogger which wasn't available within my 7 lakh budget in either Swift and Nios (Couldn't add even a penny to this). I needed alloys, which was available in the Nios but then I had to go way past my budget. High speed stability was another requirement which I know for a fact that Nios and Tiago were the only ones capable of providing it. But since Tiago was meeting my needs at a cheaper price and well within my budget when compared to the other vehicles, I choose not to go for a test drive for the other cars.

Go for the car which best suits your own requirement. We don’t buy a car everyday. If you want something in between Nexon & Tiago, check out Punch. My only suggestion is research, take a test drive & then decide.

@@milanbhunatar9430 hi Milan. If you have a budget constraint. Then definitely go for Tiago CNG. Otherwise Petrol is completely fine. However, with the rising fuel prices CNG would be a better option. Company fitted CNG vehicles are completely okay. Life expectancy of the engine does not reduce drastically but it does reduce slightly. You can easily use the car for 4-5 years before facing any issues if you maintain your car. In any case, there are enough CNG vehicles in the country today so you won't face too much of an issue. I would suggest waiting for Tiago CNG before finalising your decision. Test drive the car and see if it's upto your mark.

That blind spot is due to the pillars guys...I don't find the ORVM having any sort of blind spots... Pillars are strongly built that's the reason it indeed is the safest in its segment...I have Nexon as well uski to aur bhi jyada blind spot milti coz the pillars are gigantic but yes once you get use to it... You will be like corners me sambhal ke chalana in rush...
Being an artist, I would like to say to all those who are asking why this colour should not be introduced in Harrier is because, Yellow colour, in general, make anything thing looks bigger than what it actually is. Tiago being a small car, this colour compliments and enhances its appearance. This goes even with humans. If you have a small body frame then Yellow colour is the best to make you look big...but at the same time, the black colour makes you look slimmer.
Being a tiago NRG owner, Everything is good, I really love this car.. Getting mileage 13 to 14 in city, 17 in high way, my car is new, bought it last month and only 700kms has driven, expecting I will get more after 1 to 2 services..
I drove my girlfriends tiago for a whole year. I honestly think the only drawback in that car is erratic fueling. It's inconsistent. I could also feel the steering rack rotate while i pressed the clutch simultaneously. I always wanted a yellow Tiago, but the fueling was a deal breaker. However, I do think this car has a great rival. Ford Figo. You can get it for around 6.5 lakhs after discount. Great handling. Great chasis.
True this engine needs better tuning, if that happens then it will be the best and the tuning is required for all the cars of Tata... It doesn't kicks straight away that tuning with three gear is missing..... Other then that it's awesome.....
I won't say it will be the best. But it will put a good fight with other competitors. The engine really needs reworking but otherwise for general driving around the city to get your work done. You're not gonna feel like there's anything wrong with the vehicle
@@cyriltitus8872 I have it sir... Nexon as well as Tiago... The engines are good powers are good as well... Not practically it's not tuned properly with the gear it lags, doesn't pulls straightaway that kind of irritate... Proper tuning and it's gonna be awesome that's for sure.....
one problem i feel is that this car doesnt give any boot open button on key neither there isnt any button on the tail gate to open boot .u have to open it by turning with the key ..this is kind of a very old method of opening boot.this should be improved asap

The engine is fine, but the gear ratios should be reworked, altroz feels better and peppy to drive because of shorter gear ratios and advanced ECU, although the engine is same because the gearbox of altroz is a reworked version of tiago gearbox...

But my reasons have been outlined in the video. Moreover, I haven't specified a lot of the other reasons why I chose Tiago over other cars due to the limited time available during the shoot. Since my reasons behind discarding both the companies were not driving related except for Hyundai's steering wheel, I chose not to waste my time and test drive the car. Yes I agree. I still feel like I should've gone for the Figo but it's a little too outdated for me. I still look at every Figo on the road and really wish that had that car been updated, I would've chosen it.

Depending on what your needs are, in terms of space requirement and what kind of roads are available to you, both cars are good options. Tiago is small but nimble and its light weight also helps. While it's engine will be under pressure on hilly areas, it can get the work done. Altroz XM is more spacious but has a lower ground clearance than Tiago, so Altroz's approach angle will be worse than Tiago but not too bad either. You will have to test drive the vehicles in your area to have a better understanding of which vehicle is better for you.
I too bought tiago in june 2021. Everything is nice except for the engine. 86bhp in paper is useless in hilly area. I am from Arunachal Pradesh bad and hilly road this car has no pickup. Cant climb mountains in second gear only using 1 gear but ac is very powerful. I have completed 5000 km. Left side ac vent side is also rattling which is very irritating. I am getting 8-9 in hill area cause I can’t switch to 2nd gear.

Hey. I am the owner of the car in this video. I got my system updated by Tata service centre in Dwarka. They call a Harman employee who updates the system.

@@mastiwithtanuandishu1789 Nissan Magnite is a good option , but ya do take a test drive and check how good employees at the dealership are 👍🏻 No need to go for triber Its engine is not good for its size Moreover if you want fully loaded car , then only go for used tiago xz+ BS6 (not for bs4)

If you don't require boot space (Tiago boot space is enough) then buy Tiago XT. It would provide more number of useful or good to have features at similar price

Depends on your priority, if you need safe car + cng go for it and if safety is not that big priority Aura is a good option too

I have monthly run of 1000 to 1100 KM..... Currently, CNG car is not available in Market due to waiting period...should i go ahead to buy Tata Tiago Manual Top Model XZ+ which costs me 6.80 Lakh. I will keep my car for 5 year. Will it be good decision as per my running ?

Yes I agree. I still feel like I should've gone for the Figo but it's a little too outdated for me. I still look at every Figo on the road and really wish that had that car been updated, I would've chosen it.
@@gauranshsemwal it's rivals being Altroz, I20 and baleno. Tiago doesn't really fight with Figo because of the difference in segment. But yes it's one of the better options from among the popular ones.

Depending on what your needs are, in terms of space requirement and what kind of roads are available to you, both cars are good options. Tiago is small but nimble and its light weight also helps. While it's engine will be under pressure on hilly areas, it can get the work done.
Altroz XM is more spacious but has a lower ground clearance than Tiago, so Altroz's approach angle will be worse than Tiago but not too bad either. You will have to test drive the vehicles in your area to have a better understanding of which vehicle is better for you.
If you will not miss the look of Altroz than Tiago :)

I too bought tiago in june 2021. Everything is nice except for the engine. 86bhp in paper is useless in hilly area. I am from Arunachal Pradesh bad and hilly road this car has no pickup. Cant climb mountains in second gear only using 1 gear but ac is very powerful. I have completed 5000 km. Left side ac vent side is also rattling which is very irritating. I am getting 8-9 in hill area cause I can’t switch to 2nd gear.
I have seen ur all tiago videos..and then after I booked tiago xt arizona blue shade..but some people told me that these type of colour will fade after some time of period..plz suggest me the best and long last colour..

Its engine is not good for its size
Moreover if you want fully loaded car , then only go for used tiago xz+ BS6 (not for bs4)

It's easy if you are looking for a bigger boot space then Ofcourse TigorXE should be your choice if boot is not your priority then go for Tiago XT...
If you don't require boot space (Tiago boot space is enough) then buy Tiago XT. It would provide more number of useful or good to have features at similar price
