Please react to a movie called How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies. It's a Thai movie, it centered around a young male who, after received news that his grandma got diagnosed with cancer, decided to take care of his grandma while he himself trying to secure his inheritance from his grandma.
This movie is a seriously tear-jerker movie, full of family-themed lessons and, I can dare to say, this movie is a lot better than any family movies that you've ever seen or reacted before.

I think what's beautiful about this movie is in the end.... By 'wanting' Joy.... It's RILEY who starts choosing what emotions she wants to feel instead of the emotions deciding for her. Really shows her growing up b/c she's learning how to control her emotions and not letting them control her anymore. 🥰

The "back of the mind memories" are what keep me up at night and trigger my anxiety. These movies do such a great job making these emotions we all feel come to life. And also so understandable for others who may not have the full extent of certain emotions like anxiety or anger or embarrassment

My therapist encouraged me to watch this movie. We now use it in sessions.
For me, because of my childhood, we say that Trauma leads my brain system. Similar to Anxiety. Its okay to let Trauma run things sometimes but I have to remember the other emotions are there too ❤

That's beautiful, and relatable! My therapist gave me these affirmations to help reinforce feeling the good feelings too:
      I feel good
      I am safe
      I like myself
      I love myself
      I got this
      I can do this
      I'm enough

I love the way they illustrated the anxiety attack.
That is exactly what it feels like, one thought triggering another and another, until you are literally spiraling.
The rapid movements and tornado-like visuals of “Anxiety” were spot on.

Pixar hit hard with this one.
'Maybe this is what happens when you grow up: you feel less joy.'
    'I'm not good enough.'
    Anxiety spiralling out of control
I feel like this movie and Puss in Boots 2 did a pretty good job showing anxiety and panic attacks for both kids and adults. To hear people talking about it more and see more understanding is always a good thing.
On a brighter note - THAT is how you do a sequel. Easily as great as the first. I can't decide which I like more, it keeps changing.

When Anxiety started to spiral, I felt a panic attack of my own, unfortunately. I knew it was going to happen, so nobody panic. I couldn't watch the scene all the way through. I had someone there to comfort me. :) Anxiety being frozen in place like that while the rest of her is a blur is exactly how a real panic attack feels like. Your mind races while your body freezes. You guys actually hit on all the right notes in your post discussion. This movie has become my favorite, and one that I needed to see. 😊

Thanks for this wonderful reaction. What I really love about this channel is the nuanced, thoughtful and considered comments at the end of reactions. Coming to this movie, oh boy anyone who has ever had an anxiety attack will have really resonated with that scene in particular. Any film that helps Adults, children understand the emotions they are feeling is wonderful in my book. Inside out is definitely one of those great films.
Some movies I would love to see you guys react to and your thoughts on (from different genre’s and excellent for different reasons: -Spotlight 2015, A walk to Remember, Miss Congeniality and Remains of the day.
    Thanks again for this reaction.

Both movies might technically be made for kids, but it's the adults that get how much these emotions can affect your life when you're out of balance. I've been going through probably the roughest patch of my adult life with the worst anxiety I've experienced thus far; and, when anxiety started going out of control screaming she had to score, I just burst into tears in the theater. This movie actually helped me experience some peace of mind.

I get really bad anxiety/panic attacks from time to time and watching this movie was rough! When she gets the amxiety attack my tears were streaming down my face😭 Just a really good representation of how it feels! When I get mine it’s like everything inside of me is just spinning real bad and I’m just frozen in the middle of the storm like Anxiety is at the control board and my anxiety actually feels like electricity inside my body like the storm around the control board and the new sense of self that anxiety made also was like tiny electrical lightning bolts⚡️ just a really good visualization of what it’s like, for me at least 😅

Yayy I've been waiting for this one! Thank you guys for another great reaction, I completely agree that this is such an important movie that helps people understand themselves better. And I agree that this might be even better than the first one! I absolutely love all the world building and play on words haha, and of course the development of the characters. The fact that Anxiety just takes over and goes into overdrive felt so real to me, as a life long overthinker. That scene with the anxiety attack hit really hard. It was such a great depiction, I felt like I was right there with her and I cried in the theaters. And I like that in the end, it seems that Riley is much more in control of herself rather than being controlled by her emotions (like when she calls Joy to the console), which is in line with growing up - most people learn to better handle and regulate their emotions, and to push through with your morals and beliefs despite what you feel sometimes.

I was so glad they didn't make the film about her getting her period. This way it can be for everyone and shows that the emotions of puberty are rocky for us all (period or not)
As someone who was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder in their late teens, I relate so strongly to that sense of self becoming 'Im not goid enough'. That moment really got me in the cinema. I know just how that feels. Anxiety is important but it's important to keep it in check because it can really be a bully

My husband had suffered some anxiety attacks for the first time a few months before we saw Inside Out 2 in theaters. When we got to the scene with the anxiety attack, he said he didn't like how accurate that part was. I was a little worried how it would affect him, if it might trigger an attack, but thankfully it didn't. I have read other comments about this movie where people said it did trigger a breakdown of some sort, either crying or panic. It is just so well done.

So i was one of those folks that contributed to that 1 bill at box office. I took my twins and idk if its cause i was in a better mind space or the fact that we have just started having our puberty discussions at home and then this movie comes out and the whole movie im elbowing the kids saying see isnt mommy so smart. Told u thats what it will be like lol. Then i get the split at the end where my daughter is like no i willit to never happenand my sons just like bring it on whatever...two more opposite twins u will ever meet. Long story short, we all enjoyed this fun, very colorful movie!!❤💞❤️
