Absolute corker of a list there! My top 5 is Conclave, Dune: Part 2, La Chimera, All of Us Strangers and, as I’ve said to you already, The Count of Monte Cristo is my favourite film of 2024. So much in fact that I saw it two more times in the 1 week we had it in the UK ha! It’s actually available on blu-ray now, at least via Amazon :)
Love this list. It’s super cool to see Kneecap in there. Obviously being from NI I’m going to relate to a lot more of it but it’s supercool to hear someone else really appreciate it. My old ass was great 🙂
Loved seeing My Old Ass at number 1. This is easily my most shocking addition to my top 10 and definitely one of the biggest and best shocks of 2024. Been tempted by Monte Cristo so you've given me another push. Hope all's well with you Sarah
One of my favourite films of all time is the 70s tv movie of count of monte cristo with Richard chamberlain Donald pleasance toni curtis , its just wonderful 👍🏻 dont know about streaming but there is a network Blu-ray knocking around,
I do not have a top10 but in my top5 which are The First Omen, The Substance, Kneecap, The Wild Robot and Deadpool vs Wolverine., three are also in your list, so I thought I add a comment. I also agree with you on Quite Place, if it did not have a couple of scenes with the cat that I found too staged, I would have liked it better but minor issue really. If I had a top10 it would be in there. Also of the ones on your list I liked Late Night with the Devil quite a bit, it had a story to tell although it did not scare me exactly. Top10 material, I agree. Dune2 is OK but I am not a huge fan of the world of Dune and although I love sci-fi I am on the Asimov side; I completely understand why someone loves it though. This would be more like top20 material for me though. The rest I did not watch, I will give them a chance however. You earned a sub, keep it up and all the best!
I am a Quiet Place hater. Love the first film but I think the films beyond that have been poor and ill-advised. The monsters are so generic and they weren't the focus of the first film for good reason. But I'm glad you had a good time watching it whereas I had a miserable time haha

Lisa Frankenstein was fun! A Different Man was an interesting concept and Monkey Man was good but not my cup of tea.
