Wait.."do better for these kids" from a person who just explained that she was too stupid to watch a movie with subtitles and gets clout from being lite-skinned and having big boobs and ass? If you didn't have these attributes you wouldn't even have a channel on any platform .Earth sucks. Chick YOU do better for the kids.Youre not smart or informed.
talking ish and not liking me when you've been subbed for a year? hater behavior, do better bum.
Nope..I support the culture and I want you to be better. @@MJWITHOUTSPIDERMAN

Shottas is an absolute classic. Those who know know.
The reason Shottas won is because it's a hood classic. Whatever the critics trash the audience will embrace.
Ong
Shottas for sure should be up there when we talk about hood classics. Underrated in my opinion.
Very fucking underrated💯
I just realized this is Jamaican Scarface
@@Scarfacego242009
Mj watched shottas. Instantly added to watch later. My favorite movie.
Didn't think you'd get to movies like this but, so glad u did!
MJ all the way in her bag with this one. Watch "Hoodlum" and you will have a forever fan. She been killing it
You have to dm her to get a reaction
nah Blood In Blood Out
@@XxThePhantomFreezexX She did Blood In Blood Out already.
MJ watching Shottas just made my Jamaican heart so happy! A little fun fact about how we speak: Jamaican Patois is a dialect with its own slang. Also, there are Jamaicans of various races just like Americans (thanks to colonization) so the accents tend to sound different. In the school system students are taught how to speak "proper" English and encouraged to speak it more than patois in more formal settings (not sure if this is still a strict thing) so we're kinda raised to know how to switch our accents depending on who we're speaking to lol
Shottas is a certified hood classic, I traded my first DVD copy for a dub sack of weed😂It was worth it!
OG Louie Rankin is a legendary Jamaican. He knew my uncle down in Montego Bay. His funeral was legendary. From Sean Paul & Mr. Vegas to Jimmy Cliff and Barrington Levy.
He will sorely be miss. Salude to tha real don dada. 1953-2019
I'm so glad you reacted to this!
The original movie was the highest selling bootleg of all time in 1999. The version you're watching is the edited version. Its not the one we had on VHS that we got from the barbershop or reggae spot .
The one with a lot of Jay Z tracks
Rip teddy bruck shut and young Wayne (older Wayne son irl)
bumboclaat, rassclaat, bumbohole are slang terms (curse words/ indecent language)
This Belly,Baby Boy n Scarface was in constant rotation in my house growing up..seeing her reaction is funny af n Jamaica they grow up hella fast n dgaf early
This is definitely a very underated classic 🔥
20:55 “Oh God Everybody Get Down 😢” 😂😂😂
You do know Jamaican is a Nationality, right? That means just like in America people native to Jamaica speak the language like how you speak English even though you're Latina.
I’m surprised you didn’t notice that was a skinny younger DJ Khaled next to Wyclef ahahaha
Man, wait till you figure out that the dude hanging around Wyclef Jean (the dude that told the corny joke and shot ol boy) is DJ Khaled when he was thin..........
28:44 This is when DJ Khaled was much younger. 🎤📀
And much slimmer lol
@@lyndonnoel7266 Exactly.
And less larger💀
..whos afraid to embrace his Palestinian roots, and will get unplugged by whom ever own him if he speaks up ..
Bout a year ago a fat grown man had to get picked up by two men Kuz he didn’t want step on the ground with his Jordan-Nike ..
31:07 Using the smack sound effect is crazy😂
Yes you are watching my favorite all time favorite movie
Girl! This is my s**t. This is one of my go to movies. I use it as background noise when moving around the house. I can recite the whole film. Lol.
YES!!! M.J. This is one of my favorite Gangster movies of all time! 💯% 🇧🇲 & when you say Shottas u need to say in like they do in yard 🇯🇲
7:53 Damn, you was pretty good with that accent as how that lady talked about that boy was hella funny!! 🤣🤣🤣
48:05 I love how you ended the video differently with the accent as that’s gold as I definitely enjoyed watching your great reaction to one of my favorite old gangsta movies! Thank you! 😁😎🇯🇲🎬🎥👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The Toyota you liked in the beginning of the movie was a Land cruiser imported to Jamaica directly from Japan . Japanese market Land cruisers tend to have more small accents that enhance its look compared to the U.S Land cruisers. And You're right Land cruisers are good looking SUVs from Toyota. That white Mitsubishi Challenger/ Nativa that the Politician got shot up in was nice as well, it too has accessories that we didn't get on our U.S version.
i like ur reaction cuz ur innocence and naivety is cute😂 and i love it...the way in every movie u look for the good in folks shows ur heart❤️...cuz the way the kids were in this movie isnt unbelievable cuz im from college park, and grew up in the 80s and we were just like this at that age...and its kids like this in every city in urban america....art imitates life, so these stories u see are nothing but folks telling stories about what they witnessed
Hey Mj i showed my friends that you liked my comment ❤❤❤
I’m deeply appreciative of that and that literally made my day thank you
And my God bless you ❤❤❤
Wasn’t expecting a reaction to this movie but still a banger tho
The guy playing Biggs was born in Miami in real life that’s why he has American accent
He's also Bob Marley's son
👎 That’s not true. Ky-Mani Marley (Biggs) was born in Jamaica and then was moved to Miami with his mother when he was 8 years old
The only reactor that I know so far that react to this. ❤
I watched about 3 times already. Hope it helps on the views 😂
Mj omg this is one of my favorite childhood movies granted I shouldn’t have been watching it at a young age but omg love your reaction to it ❤️❤️
MJ I love you for this one 😂 this a classic me and my friends used to watch this all the time
Lol I can't believe y'all got Her watching Shottas lol Man this brings back memories, seen this classic in middle school.
16:51 Movie fact: the Director’s son J.R. Silvera played Young Wayne while Spragga Benz (Wayne)’s son Carlyle Grant Jr played young Wayne. Carlyle died from getting shot by cops at the age of 17 in 2007.
Wayne (Sparagga Benz) and Teddy (Louie Rankin) are reggeae icons, u should check them out too.
Tek the wha' an' lef di wha'?!
Lol @ using Big Narstie/Uncle Pain clip right at the beginning! 😂👍🏾
Top Shottas are back in full effect 😮💨💯
Jamaica is A Culture 💎🎯
As a Jamaican thanks for watching 🔥

This is one of my favorite movies of all time
This movie a hood classic
Omg girl Shottas!!! 😮💨😮💨 i completely forgot this gem
24:54 For some reason, I wasn't surprised that you didn't recognize Louie Rankin (Ox from Belly) lol. Rest in peace to him, I wish he was in more movies, during his time. I could see him in shows like Power, BMF, Chi, etc, if he was still alive. Also, he kinda looks like my uncle ✝️🙌🏾🌹🌹🌹
P.S, we still need that Exit Wounds, Cradle To The Grave, and Never Die Alone, reaction. Let's keep the DMX movie train going and catch you up 😎
This was a good reaction 👍🏾🇯🇲🇺🇸

3:39 Aye, I see you, MJ, as I dig that! Jamaican music be just as bomb like this movie as this is one of my favorite Jamaican songs along with some Bob Marley jams as his son nailed this movie. 😎🇯🇲🎧🎶🎬🎥
MJ hitting top chef status with this cook up 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
the critics ALWAYS give our movies like this a very low rating...u cant go by them😂 they dont really respect independent movies
28:50 young dj Khalid 😂😂 everyone misses this

The guy that played mad Max is Paul Campbell he has a lot of other movies you should watch especially the lunatic starring Paul Campbell
Dukes put me on to this when I was 8 never stopping watching this rip my boi MADD MAX and Wayne mane
Bloodclot is a curse word atleast when my mom explained
Wassup MJ this is one of my favorite movies can't wait for this reaction 😊😊
The accent is very important becuz Biggs can easily play both sides and got best of both worlds. Black ppl of Caribbean or Latino heritage can trick u and use language and accents to their advantage in America. It’s all about assimilating, his American swag shows when he was in Miami, the way he dressed and all but he can switch and speak patois around the homies or other Jamaicans.
Alpo from East Harlem is a perfect example. He’s technically Puerto Rican by culture but he look like a Black American man. So by him being born and raised in America and he got the black Americans swag and from the interviews that’s what it seems like he always hung around u can say he was a black man of Puerto Rican lineage lol U should look him up when u get a chance he was a real drug kingpin back in the 80s and early 90s. But they said when he would go do deals with the Dominicans or other Spanish ppl they assumed he was black. Those ppl would start talking Spanish not knowing that Alpo understood everything they were saying becuz he was fluent. He used that to his advantage to get the edge and relay everything back to his homeboys who were black.
3:31 Haven't heard this in a min. I used to listen to a lot of Damien Marley back then.
Buddy your personality not for a musician: one of the greatest musician ever .
26:53 You Dayummmm Right!!!
I’m excited you saw this movie this movie good
Yea you a real one for this one 💯
R.I.P. Louie Rankin
Ayyy trust me that reaction you had about the asian guy with the Jamaican accent was the same way i felt the first time i went to jamaica to visit my great grandma in Banana Ground (my pops was born in Jamaica and grandma didnt move him and my auntie to America til he was 10. We went down to Mandeville (the closest city down the mountain from Banana Ground) to grocery shop and i saw a white family and thought “hmm this is pretty far from the tourist resorts and shit” then they started talking and i was like “oohhh shit there’s white Jamaicans?!?”🤣🤣🤣 that was back during Christmas break my senior year of high school in 2015
we got people reacting to shottas in 2025. I love this part of the timeline
Between Shottas an New Jersey Drive two underrated hood classics
29:05 the dude in back is DJ kalid
45:47 It’s so funny seeing this dude went from being a bad gangsta to crying like a baby so fast as you’re speaking facts on 46:12! 💯😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I enjoyed your reaction great movie💯
