Myself 🙋🏼♂️ and Ellie 🙋🏼♀️ both met each other in college where we both studied travel and tourism 🌍 back in 2009. We got married👰🏼♀️🤵🏼♂️ in Mauritius in 2018 and we have both been inseparable ever since! We are both like a jigsaw and we can quite happily say either of us are not complete without the other!
We decided to start our UA-cam channel just before the pandemic started to bite around the world as we thought wed love to capture our memories as well as make informative honest videos about different resorts and hotels to help other travellers decide what might be right for them when booking their next trip abroad. We certainly didn’t go hungry haha! The food was really good james was in his element with the pizza at the Italian restaurant 😋 and we definitely put on some weight but we enjoyed it so who cares 🤣
Loved seeing you beautiful people in an absolutely beautiful place! Loved the editing, too. Congrats on almost 1000!!! I love the sand throughout all the resort. That pizza oven is incredible! Love the authenticity. Doesn't even seem like real life, what a dream vacation!
Aww thank you 😊 we’re sooo close now! That’s what we love about the Maldives it’s bare foot living, no shoes no news moto! The pizzas were amazing and mad how they shipped it all the way from Italy but so glad they did :) it is like your in a dream when your there and such an incredible part of the world 🥰 Thank you for watching 🥰

This was so ace to see the whole island!! Loved all of the little stops you did, definitely looks like the food options are really good too! That pizza looked so so yummy! 😋 Really interesting to see what the island offers and activities you can do too! We’ve been looking at the resort online for prices next year, so tempting! Just have a look I wouldn’t recommend you two on going to this island though if I’m honest you’d be better off at Kuredu or something for the true authentic Maldivian experience guys 😉. This resort was only good for food and that’s it really. Deffo look out for next year you two would love it in the Maldives 😍

Hehe Do it you won’t be disappointed 😍 there are so many beautiful islands in the Maldives it’s so overwhelming looking for an island but the most rewarding when you land in paradise 🥰

what are you feeling apprehensive about? Let’s just say if we had to choose between Kuredu and You & Me it would be Kuredu hands down it’s such a beautiful island and you’ll see for yourself in August 🥰
@@JamesandElliesAdventures thanks for the reply. I'm not sure why I'm so apprehensive ? I thinks it just a real big thing for us being our 10th wedding anniversary and worried about weather I didn't realise when I booked it was rainy season but I'm sure we will love it 👍🏻
Honestly don’t be you’ll have the most amazing time. We went to you & me in December when the weather is supposed to be good but the weather was pants for a good part of the holiday and we still had an amazing time. One of the locals said they had better weather July/august last year compared to the weather they had in December. The weather is so random all over the world at the moment. You’ll have the best time 🥰

Great video! I remember I came across this resort while planning my Maldives holiday last year but then we decided to go for Kuredo islands since your videos really convinced us eheh which one did you like the most Kuredo resort or Cocoon You and Me resort?
Hello 👋🏻 🙂 the only good thing about this resort I’d say we both do is the food if you could take that to Kuredu it would be perfect. This island doesn’t have great photo spots like Kuredu either or nice long walks. We prefer Kuredu so far though 😍 you’ve made a good choice so don’t worry after we left reviews went down hill as staff weren’t doing great apparently with waiter service etc🤷🏼♂️. Keep your eyes peeled for Julys videos from us 😉
Thanks for the video, really useful to see the whole island! Looking at going here for our honeymoon but wanted to understand the prices of things on the island (e.g. pizza, cocktail or bottle of water) if not on the all inclusive package?
Hey thank you for watching 😎. We were all inclusive so we didn’t notice prices for things such as the food and water but our friends were on the full board package and I know you get the bottle water in your room free and they were allowed soft drinks only with all their meals. Hope that helps 🙂
Hey , we I am going here in November i can’t wait , amazing video . Will I need much spending money wise we don’t plan doing too much as it’s just for chill , so all drinks during the day are all inclusive and the lunch foods . Obviously need to book the Italian one at night etc as it can be busy .

No if you plan on just chilling and not doing any of the excursions or spa etc then you won’t need much spending money at all. I would say take some small dollar bills in cash for tipping. It’s not mandatory to tip but they really appreciate it and the service is brilliant :)
Yes defo get the Italian and rising sun booked in with your host once your on the island. Other than that I hope you have an amazing time :)

I will defo book them watched your videos and looks fab , so the breakfast etc is obviously walk in and all inclusive, I am nervous as this is a total different holiday to us and even though it’s all inclusive I don’t want to eat and they say you need to pay etc just so I know exactly what we doing . It’s coming in so fast eeek nervous
Your welcome :) yes so if you’ve booked all inclusive then you’ll get breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of your drinks. There are some extra charges for certain food/drink items but if in doubt just ask your waiter/waitress that’s what we done as we didn’t want to get stung. It’s usually things like lobster etc. you’ll have a fab time :)

Great video guys! Me and my wife fly out later this month to this resort. Is there anything you would recommend doing whilst there, excursions etc?
Hey 👋🏻 firstly thank you so much for watching.
So we recommend a trip to tsunami island you get to go to a nice small private island to snorkel which you must do in chicken when it comes to swimming and stuff but the reef is so good close to shore and you may get a chance to see dolphins too.
You can do a sunset cruise but ours was more like a Prosecco cruise bobbing around the Indian Ocean.
I’m not sure what else they offer here if I’m honest 🤷🏼♂️ just make sure you reserve the Italian and tepinyaki restaurant as much as you can 🤤 foods to die for and I wouldn’t recommend wasting $255 each on their underwater restaurant either our friends did it and they were mega disappointed with it for how much it costs. If you want to do that I recommend another trip to Kuredu island in the Maldives to their sister island 15 min speedboat away to the 5.8 undersea restaurant (we’ve done a video in this check it out)

Hey You’re very welcome ☺️ we find it hard to rate as it’s a small island and we prefer a bigger island with more to do. However, we really enjoyed the food here 👌🏼 especially the Pizza yum! 🤤
Hey guys sorry to be a pest hope you don’t mind me messaging you guys , I am going here Sunday , how do I book the restaurants ? When we arrive will it be fine too book whatever in advice as I am so nervous lol , I know there’s a main restaurant for breakfast , lunch dinner etc that u won’t need to fully book but ie the Italian etc how do yous book this , I am full of nerves travelling here on Sunday xxx
Hello Lauren, of course we don’t mind :) the restaurants you will book with your host when you arrive on the island so don’t worry they will sort it all for you :) the food is really good we ate probably too much haha 😆 have the best time you’ll love it 🥰
Is the shisha included in the all inclusive? Or is there a separate charge?
Hello it’s an extra charge and isn’t included in the all inclusive package. Sorry I’m not sure how much the Shisha cost!

I didn't see the underwater restaurant. Is it still available?
Hello yea it is available we chose not to go just as we went to the 5.8 at Hurawahli and it costs the same price our friends went and they didn’t particularly like it they felt extremely underwhelmed for their first experience in an under water restaurant. It’s costs around $225/$250 pp my advice is save your money and spend on something better for yourself honestly 😀 hope this helps 🙂

@@nneomaanaeto out for the two islands we have been too I would recommend Kuredu island resort especially for your first time it has lots of activities and things to do and is a fab beautiful island 🥰
We’ve been to Kuredu and we recommend that resort to everyone over You & Me we have videos on Kuredu too we love the resort check them our prices are decent too and you can take a boat over to Hurawahli for 5.8 which is a must do! 😍
Seems like all the restaurants have no AC... correct? Does the hotel room has AC?
Yes that’s correct they are semi outdoors the restaurants. The room does have AC :)
Thanks for this quick reply. Helps a lot! I booked it and will cancel if the restaurants has no AC. I was in Mercure last year. It was a great experience. Just can't imagine eating without AC. I also heard they don't have local reef around. That's disappointed too.

I’m not 100% sure to be honest as we didn’t dine at the H20 restaurant but I think it would be around €250 per person for dinner.

I booked You & Me before seeing your video, and am worrying that it’s not the best, please tell me something positive ? We just want drinks in the sun, good food and diving. I want to love the over water 🐬 villa with pool, but things are putting me off and it’s a bit late now we’re all booked.. 😟
No don’t be worried it’s a lovely island and the food is really really good :) we ate a bit too much haha! We didn’t do diving so can’t comment on that but the dolphin pool villas are lovely so I’m sure you’ll have a fab time :)
