Good job! Now a suggestion. Use 2x2’s!! Not as bulky looking! First rung 8” from top. Last rung 20” inches from bottom. This way you’ll have the use of all rungs! Put a blanket on the top rung of your ladder and you’ll see what I mean. You have potential!!
Thank you for always showing us step by step with your projects. I'm gonna try to make me one of these I have always wanted one and your videos make it possible for me now because you show exactly what to do. the ladder is awesome as usual 💟
Lol! Well I can tell it's a popular color here in Dallas because I went to Home Depot and there were only 2 cans left on the shelf. There were lots of the other colors. 😂
Does it matter if we angle cut the bottom and tops of the sides so that it leans flush against the wall? I'm lazy to want to do that, and I don't have my own saw, was just going to have hoke depot pre-cut all my wood pieces. I've seen some who angle cut and others don't. Do you find it stand fine without it? I have kids in my house so just thought I'd ask...thank you...and I love how you you put the rungs in front. I guess others use them to place knick knacks on, and have to angle the rungs so that it's level and can have knick knack placed on top of them. I like simple, and I don't have a lot of knick knacks, so I rrally appreciate your style.
+Grace Filled Nest Thanks!! Isn't it great stain?! I use Jacobean on everything in my house. Not too too dark and brings out the wood grain beautifully.
Love the ladder. I have so any projects I want to do and I will be adding this to my list. What type of paper are you covering your table with when you stain a project?
+Sheri Mayberry This would be a great quick project. Maybe an hour or two worth of your time. I understand the Long to do list completely 😂. I use a roll of craft brown paper to cover my table. It's thick enough and rolls up easily. You can also use packing paper. Same kind of thing.
Don't you know it Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't mind it as much since I bought my orbital sander; however, it's still time consuming and not the most fun thing. Thanks girl!
I have a question about this ladder. The stain that you put on it, does it not get onto your blankets? I've had this to happen before on something,, the stain was completely dry?
I miss you talking normally like you do in this video. I find I have to mute your videos now because of how you make your voice talk unnaturally. (Sorry for being brutally honest)

I have a question about this ladder. The stain that you put on it, does it not get onto your blankets? I've had this to happen before on something,, the stain was completely dry?
+teri zachary I haven't noticed that with mine. You could seal it though, that would keep it for bleeding on there.
The Daily DIYer oh this just answered my question :)
teri zachary you let the stain dry before putting blankets on lol
nice
Thanks!
