So if in some cases the wife has been under her husband's service for many years, and helped him through rough times, then it makes no sense to mistrust her like that because if he dies, she has nothing to fend for herself or her kids (which are supposedly his as well) and then we would be playing into the argument of letting the woman work and have a stable income to protect herself from such sudden situations.
