Mr Taite, great stories and I can tell your love and passion for the sport and how much it hurts that you can't continue creating stories. Thanks for sharing and God bless!
What a super interview! My biggest take away was his willingness to go and shoot with that .243 Ruger and compete! I’ve been reluctant to even try a match with my outclassed 6.5 Creedmoor! But this interview has convinced me that I will take my outclassed rifle and compete! Thanks Larry for the inspiration!
Erik, you made a mistake. Broadcasting the interview with Larry just puts you on number two on my list of shooter I need to meet. Not just because of his sense of humor but because he is the worlds famous shooter. Best wishes to both of you from Germany
I really like this man. He has a great attitude, very positive, and very funny. I would love to learn from this man. Mr. Larry, if you want a Canadian student I'm your guy lol. We can laugh shoot, and laugh some more. Great interview Erik, buy this man a beer!
I have a vision--a bunch of us older guys, sitting around the evening hunting camp bonfire while sipping some good bourbon, and Larry Taite telling stories. It couldn't get any better than that!
What a great story teller! You could see the pasion he has about the sport when he talks about that he can't shoot anymore. Hopefully his nephew can follow in his steps.
This was an amazing interview, what stories. This interview is why I love being involved with the shooting community. I wish everyone would watch this they would have to get involved! Thank you Larry for the passion and Thank Erik for your time and getting this stuff out there, much appreciated!
This was by far the best interview yet! I can say that I did not learn about the sport as much as I learned about a tremendous competitor in LIFE! Larry is a wonderful storyteller, and I wish him the best in his fight against cancer! Godspeed!
My jaws and ribs are hurting from laughter. This should be on Comedy Central. What a classy guy. I’m not sure I learned much about shooting but learned a great deal about life! Thanks for sharing Erik and Larry “Taiter”. Great interview just two friends talking about old times.
Erik, this is by far the best video yet...... Larry Taite is a " Hoot " When you take your first shot and completely miss the target look up at the coach and all you can say is " give me a minute " ....... outstanding !! Any lesser person would have crumbled at that point, Larry is Larry .....thanks for the time as I'm still laughing
Erik, the video was awesome and really need a good night of laughing. It reminded me of the times smallbore and USST shooters from the 60 - 80s would get together. Thanks and all the best to Larry Taite.
I genuinely lol’d. I had heard some of these stories secondhand about Taite … but this was soooooo much better. Next time you need to ask him the Bewitched story and also how he got his nickname.
Wow! The best!!! What’s amazing is how he just rolls into the game and breaks world records, wins without even knowing how much skills he has in the beginning!!! That really must have been a fun trip you had in Ireland!!! World Famous Shooter indeed!🙌🏽😂
A man with a humble sort of confidence is a rare breed and a real force to be reckoned with. Larry Taite is definitely one these types of folks. Great, entertaining interview! You know Erik, the story I’d like to hear is yours! Would be kind of hard to interview yourself in this format though😂
I'm not even a competitive shooter but you guys crack me up. The end of the video gives me almost an ounce of Hope because I am legally blind that if I cranked them zoom zooms up I can tear the center out
Hey Erik Another awesome interview Mate , Larry is a very funny guy with heaps of great stories , it sounds like you guys had some memorable times together in Ireland , my family are of Irish descendent all have a great sense humour and are very friendly people , I’m pleased for you Larry and the team had the opportunity to experience that Aussie (ex Irish) Steve .
Thanks for putting this out there. I shot service rifle in the 80's including a few trips to the National Matches and listening to you guys talk about your experiences brought back some fond memories. Hanging out with Larry had to be a riot. If he ever writes a book, I'd be in line to buy it.
This was the BEST guest so far imo! Watched them all...enjoyed them all. But Larry is quite entertaining. And his audio/video feed was flawless which was great. Thank you so much for your time Mr. Taite.
Great Stories. What a competitor, I bought my 1st real decent long range starter rifle a couple years ago. A Hawkeye M77 Ruger 6.5 PRC . Now I feel good, that was what Taite bought to start with too! Hopefully great minds think alike or something.
I love this interview, and Larry is a great story teller, such a humble guy. So likeable. Must have some great skill to go out with a basic gun and make a showing.👍
This was so fun to listen too. Great job! I have a suggestion...you could replay these videos and pause them at certain points and offer definitions of some of the technical points that are made at some points
As a neck sizer (former 🤷🏼♂️we're testing ) Larry Taite "World Famous Shooter"❤️ has made me subscribe to you and even listen .... thank you for letting such a wonderful man tell wonderful stories .... my Ruger M77 target is amazing at 600 yd plus I divorced and raising my kids best I can .....😂🤷🏼♂️ I don't think I'll be Mr Taite! But a guy can hope 😂 Thank you for letting him tell his story thank you very much (I'm back FL and I promise I'll get one em "speedy" dies (thanks for that too)
I love how this guy got a factory M77 and it out shoot many guys with high end rigs. Comes to show most factory rifles will out shoot us. I shoot a factory SSG 3000 and it definitely will out shoot my abilities.
36:38 oh geez! I did kinda the same thing in reverse on an Antelope hunt! I went to shoot at 300 yards, a "chip shot" for me and where I zero for, so I should've been "dialed" already... I missed like 4 shots in a row?! I thought something HAD to be wrong with my rifle?! Operator error! I was still dialed for 1300 yards from practicing earlier on, the bullets were going like THREE YARDS HIGH!? 😅
I have to edit this a little. It's such a good thing thing to do for a friend, to empathize with them when they're facing such an unfair thing, like cancer. You're a good friend EC🤙
This was the best interview. You need to just put him on telling stories again. I laughed like crazy.
Lol i was thinking the same
If willing a second Taite interview is a must. By far the most entertaining interview ever! I was laughing my ass off. “CEASEFIRE!”
Mr Taite, great stories and I can tell your love and passion for the sport and how much it hurts that you can't continue creating stories. Thanks for sharing and God bless!
WOW what an amazing man! I would lessen to his stories all day definitely have him back on.

You can tell these were the best times of his life. This is why I started shooting high power.
"Get that .410 off the line!" - my sides are killing me!
Watched again, Larry has put more living into his life than most 10 people...I aspire to enjoy life as much as he has...
What a blessing it is to know someone like Taite in your life
As everyone else is saying, do another one with this man . Prayers for your healing and health Larry . That was great
Hands down the best interview to date. But brought a tear to my eye...
This was by far the best interview yet! I can say that I did not learn about the sport as much as I learned about a tremendous competitor in LIFE! Larry is a wonderful storyteller, and I wish him the best in his fight against cancer! Godspeed!
