Excellent video as always. Where did you find yours. I have a N2 RS and I'd like to buyt the N2 RS Trap but i don't find any distributor with this beauty available.
My AR-12 is even heavier than that and each magazine has from a 3rd magazine all the way up to 20 round magazine which I have a minimum of 5 magazines, the low mag's are for hunting and the high campasity are for house to house fighting for defense, but it's still heaver than his little shot gun

Did the case come with it? Would it be suitable for airlines and hold the hold both barrel sets?
Yes the case comes with it. I'd look at Pelican cases for extensive flying.

Check out Joel Etchen Guns out of PA. He has a couple left.
Tristar imports a trap gun that does the same thing for a much lower cost.

8 pounds and 10 ounces is heavy.
Not for a dedicated trap gun. Many Kolars are at 10 lbs.
