I just played this this past weekend and got stomped 😂 Started off with 3 birdies but then made my way to 8 over by the end. Had to get in the water on hole 10 and wet feet after didn't help. I'll def be back, it's hands down the most beautiful course I've ever played.
Try and make your way out to Waller Mill Park in Williamsburg if you can on your way south. It’s a fantastic woods course that makes great use of elevation. I prefer it over Lair
This is one of my favorite courses. Played the VA doubles championship with my wife here about 4 years ago. Such a great piece of property and they keep it well maintained. Happy you got to play this course.
Love to see the rainmakers! Maybe the new ones feel better in the humidity n warm? They do for me but I’m from upper michigan tho so don’t trust me since it’s 29 degrees out

Such a good course, hope you can make it back play the Lair too, it’s wild that 2 of the best courses in VA are right there together!

Last year’s Am tournament here I shot +18 on this layout in storm conditions and it was still 899 rated. That tells you how much butt it kicks.
