Mr. Daljit Singh is a successful grower in the kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh, in India. Had the previlege to meet him and taste his kiwifruit juice he always welcome us with. Hello Ji, apne Hayward variety lagai hai but esme fruits kam lagte hai per wine, zadatar log elison ko prefer krte hai. So how you are managing it. My second question grafted kiwi trees aur cuttings wale tree mei production mei difference rehta hai kya? Apke orchard mei ek kiwi plant se dusre plant mei kitna distance hai aur ek row se dusri row mei kitna distance hai. Maine dekha apne jo structure khada kiya hai usme do do poles lagaye hai kiwi plants k side mei eska any specific reason bcoz aur baki log T bar system lgate hai.

Marketing must not be a problem in the country where 1.2 billion people lives. After the harvest the fruit can be collected under a shed. Currently the fruit being produced goes to Delhi and highest bidder takes the lot. Daljit Singh load it on the top of bus (or a large load on a tempo or truck) as per marketers requirements it get delivered to the fruit vender.
Once there is more fruit and in abundance there will be proper infrastructure to market it in the country.
Approximately one plant produce 100 kgs and the average price on one kilos is INR 100 Rs. so the income from one plant after the plantation of 5 years is 10,000 Indian Rs.
