I'm still not over his totally unnecessary death. It destroyed the whole ending for me. Who cares about the last kiss when no one even mentioned the person that died making it happen

He definitely didn't deserve to die. He was my favourite character. When he told Vincenzo “I have you to protect me" I somehow felt safe and touched by how he trusted his own life to him. But what did Vincenzo do? When Hanseo was fighting to protect him and Cha Young, Vincenzo literally went to save her and was ready to escape. Even when Hanseok went he didn't even look or do something for Hanseo. He literally went to Cha Young and left Hanseo there. So dissapointed with what he did. And the fact that after he died they lived happily and didn't even remember him once... Like BRO HE'S THE REASON WHY YOU'RE ALIVE...
Vincenzo regret his action, he kill hanseok brutally for hanseo, he even told hanseok "Go and apologise to your brother" Vincenzo avenge hanseo's death, you expect them to mourn for him forever? If a friend of yours die, I bet you won't cry for that person forever, you have to continue your life and get your own happiness. Life goes on.

And after watching again I think Vicenzo know Han seo will die and let it happening all the same because Vicenzo only used him... All the time he know that he needed help to get to that shit ass of a monster and used Han Seo till the very end. Vicenzo onlycare for hinself and that girl the rest he only tolerate.

This guy is an AMAZING actor. I really wanna see him in a lead role for a drama that gets a lot of attention.
I feel like his death was the saddest thing in the show. I just can't get over it. But the worst of the worst: the reaction of Vincenzo. He just didn't care about him. While he was fighting with his brother, he only cared about the girl. He was even ready to leave with her while he was dying for him.
I've never cried so hard for a fictional character before. He was truly pure hearted and went through such horrible events throughout his life. But.. I think him dying was quite logical. He was tortured his entire life and honestly his life was a tragedy. He deserved to REST.. I don't know how to explain

My poor baby. His death shook me up...he was my favorite, more than Vincenzo. Those huge eyes, and soft heart. He just wanted to be someone's "family", and that demon spawn of a brother wouldn't let them be great.

I was very disappointed that Vincenzo didn't try to help him instead he went to untie the girl and leave. He could have been saved

Don't get me wrong but the whole show was around Vincenzo and you liked Jung han seo more than Vincenzo ? He changed and people liked him only for last chapters .. but actually people forget that he was ready to kill Vincenzo and he offered it Jung woo too .. so what was so effective in his character besides the fact that in last chapters he was our (audience's ) little cute boy .. i feel sad for him too but it's drama and also it was perfect way to show one last time that even Vincenzo can't save everyone around him . He isn't a saviour but also human being with his weakness ..

i always felt like he would die since the start but his arc was developing so well i really hoped he would get an ending his character deserved. He really sacrificed everything and put his life on the line only for vincenzo or anyone to not even gaf. the second there was an opening as han seo attacked his brother, vincenzo shouldve attacked him aswell and they could have finnished him right then and there. wouldve messed with the plot but did the real ending even feel satyfsing the way it ended like this? Not for me...

I should admit, I truly agree and disagree with the common opinion which is left in the comments. On one hand, I strongly agree that he didn't DESERVE being killed, cause he was purely dedicated in who and what he believed and loved. Not on the other hand, I think we need to consider the fact that this kdrama was most and best showing reality. Sad, cruel, harsh but true. His death was a logical move and Vincenzo reactions too. You're saying that he didn't care? I think he did, and his full acceptance and understanding when he thought that hanseo was really about to kill him to save his own life.
Second, just wanna mention one other thing. It was a breaking point, the hardest decision and most hardly solving situation, again, which is logically sticks everything and leads to the last actions. Just imagine yourself in the situation when you have to choose between your brother and a person, who you truly love probably for the first time in your whole 30 year life? Would you be able to make it at all? Don't think so, and we could see how Cassano hesitated and suffered between those two.
Third and the last. Hanseo was one of my favorite characters, he's development was amazing during the show. I personally think that all these reaction to the series just proves how good the plot was and how incredibly talented actors could play and handle all pressure put on their characters. Amazing and loved

Ahhh, his whole character arc was trying to change himself and become his own person. It's frustrating that all his effort was wasted with him dying at the hands of his abuser. It's even worse when you consider that his death didn't ultimately change the plot or affect the characters around him. The plot would still have gone the way it did even if Han Seo had survived; Han Seok would still have been tracked down and murdered. Vincenzo and Cha Young didn't show any grief for the man who sacrificed his life for them afterwards ("You deserve to be called my brother" *a hem* Excuse me, I _think_ you mean 'I am glad to call you my brother'). Han Seo wasn't even given a funeral or grave scene.
