This would therefore cause a very weird, counterintuitive interaction, having the x-bow not fully killing a target before locking on to the next one, so supercell decided to fix it. Glitch Patched (New X-bow & The Difference): In simple words, fixing the glitch is essentially to make the x-bow not as smart as before: Before: If x-bow thinks the target it locks on will die (like the 1hp knight example mentioned earlier), it will lock on to the next target. Now: X-bow must physically see the target dies before locking on to the next target. The Skeleton Interaction Difference Ian mentioned: After taking a rocket worth of damage, x-bow is able to survive for about 2s, getting 7 shots on targets before it dies out. This only applies to the old x-bow, however; as explained earlier, the old x-bow would immediately switch target when it thinks the old one will die, while the new x-bow must witness the death of its target before starting to shoot the next one. To kill 3 skeletons, the x-bow needs 6 shots, which theoretically takes 0.3*6 = 1.8 seconds. However, since the x-bow needs to see a skeleton being killed before locking on to the next one, it takes more than 1.8 seconds to kill them as switching targets would waste more time. For example, when x-bow shoots out the arrow that will kill one skeleton, it is still locked on that skeleton until the arrow travels for some time and kills the skeleton, and then it will lock on another skeleton, taking another 0.3 seconds to shoot out its arrow. This makes x-bow's time interval between shooting 2 arrows while switching targets longer than 0.3 seconds. The exact time interval would depend on the distance the arrow travelled (the closer the target, the faster x-bow switches). Therefore, it takes longer to kill 3 skeletons as it needs to switch target twice, making it hit slower in that process, thus changing the interaction.
