The are, faster, stronger, more accurate, lasts for many decades, are super sensitive and adaptive, robust and have an inbuilt repair mechanism. On top of that our hand can do all this with absolute silence. This sounds pretty science fiction doesnt it?

I think a mechanical hand fabricated using micro and nano technologies is still the gold standard. Did Festo consider all the functions of a human hand in the design brief? The hand should be able to stand straight up to indicate stop or to push an object. The thumb and fingers should be able to come together to pinch in order to pick up objects or pull on something. The hand should able able to form a fist to punch a break in case of emergency glass for example.
What's happened to these videos? Used to just be a mercury blob swimming through the air with no further explanation. Now even I could create my own with the level of detail they went into here.

I don't see any in-hand manipulation. It's just randomly moving it's fingers. The object doesn't do any useful rotation.
