Man, how long have we been allowing Brock skip? This opens so many doors for so many Pokemon- I'm sure some will fall short in the end, but for something like Scyther as the first thing coming to mind, this could be a godsend. It's a complete game-changer for so many Pokemon I can't even go through the possibilities in my head. Really it's any good strong normal-type physical attacker and there's no shortage. Brock isn't the only thing holding mons like Kangaskhan or Tauros back but this would help them out so much.
The hardest part of these two great gaming channels, is deciding if you want to be a RBY Pokémon Challenges member or a GSC Pokémon Challenges member or both, so you end up being memberless on both
Skiplax had an interesting run, with a great access to a wide movepool ,which has one of the best,if not the best, set up move in gen 1,made the slow growth rate a bit less significant, even though facing the Erika on minimum battles,as the fouth gym leader, was kind a bit much for Skiplax. But afterwards it didn't really had an issue with any of the major trainers. 😊 Gen 1 made Brock as hard wall for most pokemon, even really good ones are struggling to get by Brock on minimum battles. And that's how this series has grown on me. 😮 This series can continue with pokemon that can't go through Misty as the second gym on minimum battles. Kangsakan and Tauros can go head to head in this series, because it could be interesting to compare between the two.😊
Yeah, I think there are a ton of pokemon that could benefit from the Brcok Skip. But I also think there are some who we could overestimate their abilities and end up failing because we don't have BRock's badge boost in Attack. Stay tuned for the next one!
7:30 that was no PP issue, that was already pushing yourself into one trainer too much, since that one can be skipped. what a great run outside of that, very much enjoyed it
@@RBYPokemonChallenges yeah i double check because that trainer forces you to fight the other also but if you fight the down trainer you skip the other girl after, or am i wrong? do trainer position get reset after leaving the place to heal? I forgot about this
More coming, Tauros is already recorded. I want to do a bunch of Gen 1 OU Pokemon and the. a couple of significantly weaker Pokemon as a start, but we'll see how it goes
One question, just to understand the scoring. It went from 9 resets ending Koga and 10 finishing Erika but no resets talked about. Don’t know if it was a mistake or just lost to Erika again 😅
Snorlax may be slow, but that's because the Pokémon himself is based on Koji Nishino. Watching this video, I've noticed that you kind of resemble Koji Nishino.
Loving that this Brock skip is becoming a series. A lot of these "top tier" pokemon are gotten later in the game and it kinda messes with some of their level up pools too because gen 1. Gives you access to some tms they'd normally get access to or you can get them to a level up move that some other pokemon would learn at maybe 6-8 to give them a better shot at brock
I would love to make a hack of the game with logical level-up moivesets. Gen 2 started to fix that issue and give every pokemon level up moves at lower levels, but Gen 1 basically just said "What't the lowest level they can be obtained at?" and made the set from there. And the sheer number of Pokemon that learn Leer and Tail whip on the same moveset is maddening.
Yeah not to the point I can do that yet. Baby, wife, and full time job keep me from being about to have the time right now, but would be down to do so someday!

Absolutely! I think it's really interesting o see just how well they can do if not for the one battle.

Fair point. I think the GSC membership has a clearer benefit in being the one that lets you save a Pokemon in the minimum battles series.

Brock through walls is a genius name for this series 🙌🏾🙌🏾
There shall be more!
Tauros is going to be amazing. That thing is a tank.
I got some serious catching up to do on both your channels! RBY & GSC!😊😊😊
Thank you for watching both!
@@RBYPokemonChallenges welcome!
I'd love these overworld sprites in Pokemon Yellow Legacy 🥺

Did I fight a skippable trainer? Let me double back....

Just here to say that glitches are based. Brock through walls to enable previously impossible minimum battles mons is a good idea, more of this!
Basically I(m just interesting to see Pokemon that beat the game without Brock or maybe by adding one TM.
RBYPC repping the GSC colours on the face cam? What sorcery is this?
lol, just switched to one background and didn't bother swapping back
Why does Amnesia raise special defense? Do they forget all the past pain and trauma and become more resilient?
Apparently so.
MORE SKIP BROCK PLEASESS

Yeah, I didn't stop to break down every reset. It's just getting put to sleep by Erika that caused one more reset there.
Amnesia? Psychic? STAB Body Slam? If only it could learn Swords Dance...
Swords Dance Snorlax would have been completely overpowered, as Curse Snorlax showed in Gen 2.

Do I? I'll have to check it out
@@RBYPokemonChallenges If you search Koji Nishino in images and see him what he looks like right now, you'll understand.
Enjoying the Skiplax play through more then the GSC one earlier, that other video was a bit too long
For sure, I may need to adjust length going forward.. I'm trying to cut a bit more fluff and keep the run going properly.

Speling Fsil
Anyone else super confused about showing the gym leaders yellow teams whe he's playing Red/Blue?😂
Editing mistake. I have the Blue team graphics made, just didn't put them in properly. RIP
@@RBYPokemonChallenges haha all good man, love the content!
If only you could put out videos daily. That would be awesome.

@@RBYPokemonChallengesyour spin on the play throughs is so unique and fresh. Compliments the other creators well.
"Brock through walls" is growing on me, but who came up with it?
It's been a longtime request on the channel, but the skip has been around since at least 1996.
@@RBYPokemonChallenges what about the name?
@@PabloNeves26I'd check Bulbapedia for whomever came up with the name.
Maybe bill is the original Furry.
