This is a wonderful version of "Man in the Mirror" and it's taught me that even tho I may not be able to look at the image I see, that Jesus teaches us that if you love and have complete faith in Him and have Him live in your heart, that the image you see then will be that of God's Beautiful Child.
Hearing this acoustic style version, it makes me realize even more how beautiful this song is. This is the best version of Man in the Mirror, other than MJ's, I've heard.
James really give justice to MJ's Man in the Mirror.. People who love acoustic will surely love this version. Honestly this is one of my favorite songs now, I'm listening to it over and over again.. =)
i never realised how great he was before, and as soon as i brought him up my dad showed me in his closet and he has like every single CD hees made! i still havent finished going through them. i listen to them every morning and night and when im getting ready to go out (; i think he sung this beautifully!x
People are so judgmental. James Morrison is very inspirational and an amazing musician. His music is so raw unlike the majority of today's remixed crap
michael is the king.. that being said, this is so husky and soulful.. whats not to love? it doesn't have to be one or the other. they both sing it beautifully.
dont compare artists who revive songs originally written by legendary singers... james morrison did justice to the song, thats what we should be saying.
Michael Jackson is a legend and is inimitable, but I dont think that is James' intention here anyway. Songs are covered all the time for all sorts of reasons. This is a lovely interpretation from the sublimely talented Mr Morrison, worth a listen in its own right. Cant wait to see what he does next.
