I’m a doctor myself. We are not taught how to give painless shots. How I do it is I tap the needle in first and then I push the needle in slowly.
I appreciate this one Dave. Been on trt ffor a year and sometimes i still feel like I'm completely new at injecting.

after you lube the pin pull pack the plunger a little to release pressure before injection. then u can easily aspirate. 26g 1inch for glutes i use. its slow but no pain or discomfort.

I’ve had a issue a few times where I get major swelling and sore to the touch on poke sights, I usually only do glutes. It’s bad enough sometimes where it hurts to even lay on that side or even get out of the car. I use a 25g needle as well, and have never done over 250 at once. It forms almost like a lump right on the spot, it doesn’t get warm or anytbing that points to infection though.
This only happens sometimes right?

Does it only happen when you do the higher mg shots with more oil?
I put a 1 inch needle in my side delt.Ya that's deep enough.
@@209esov6 Yeah you're deep enough... some folks may need a 1 inch for intramuscular.... I did when I weighed 240
I now use half inch or 5/8 when I pin delts ..
Thing some people don't understand is you don't have to go in a full 1-inch with a 1 inch needle...
The way I see it, if you've got a 1- inch syringe, you can go in anywhere from 3/8 to 1 inch...
Thanks Jack I have a question I know dave just explained this on this video but I have OCD lol! Yesterday I took my TRT shot in my side upper shoulder, I took in .5 of some testosterone cypoinate.When I slowly put the needle in I new I knicked some capillaries this time going in so I knew when I took the needle out it was going to bleed more than just a dot.Anyway I put it in and waited 10 seconds then pulled it out and sure enough blood came out quick but I immediately put a tissue over it tight and it stopped right away.again this time blood dripped out more.I used a 1 inch in my shoulder which is plenty deep.My question to is I shouldn't worry that I lost any or much of my half cc of cypoinate it all started in? lol!
@@209esov6 ha, That's funny because after doing about 30 successful shots when I started TRT, I had the same thing happen many times...
It doesn't absolutely shoot across the room (many guys who do steroids have had that happen after a bad shot, not me yet) or anything but blood rushes out as soon as you pull the needle tip out and probably wouldn't stop if you didn't immediately put your finger over it, right?

Could the blood have been mixed with some of the Cypionate? not sure but I do think it's possible...
I think you're probably alright if you got your finger on it as fast as you could to coagulate the bleeding with pressure..
I found out what was causing mine..
Not wanting to waste any of my precious Test E / C oil (i have both), I was pushing down on the plunger really hard to get every drop into my muscle. This in turn would cause a subdermal suction action and actually draw the blood out when I removed the needle..
Be careful you're not doing that. but yes absolutely push the plunger all the way down and get all the shot into the muscle, just don't overdo it like I was.
I think you're all right and I think you should look into splitting your shots up into maybe 2x or 3x per week instead of one big shot...

After a couple shots 4th for me what the hell am I doing wrong. No pain when doing the injection but for the next 4 days my ass can’t walk. It feels like someone hit me with a sledgehammer then on day 5 no pain at all. Gear is from a ugl and not every dude on gear has it prescribed. Test E 300 any help would be appreciated
Got the best story first injection ever used a retractable but Had no idea what a retractable was so I thought the needle went into my leg so went and got finger nail clippers and dug my skin out to realize the needle was in the syringe still lol...

All I use is 23s most pins no pain don't have warm the oil and it goes in nice. Not as much luck with the wife hard to warm up and rarely nice😂😂

There's absolutely no reason to not draw back. Why would you take the risk? Hitting vessels can happen.

Why has Dave lost SO much size? Most huge guys who keep working out maintain more size than Dave has at the same age, even when they get off the gear and reduce their intensity, frequency and weights. Injuries?
Because, when you get older you have to lower your weight, else you may get problems with your heart, add to that the amount of steroids which was used and possible heart hypertrophy, and you get your answer.
Glad I don't bother with jabs anymore. Just gets boring. Unless you're a pro what's the "point" .

To deal with and prevent these infections, here’s what you should run with your cycles (natural supplements)
Garlic Calsules daily - natural antibiotic
Turmeric powder capsules - natural anti-inflammatory & blood thinner
Krill oil - increases good cholesterol

Only use extra turmeric when you feel an infection coming or when blood is thick/dark when injecting to keep blood balanced

Dave, paramedics(myself) and nurses, start iv's every day with 18 and 20G, even 16G for trauma victims. These needles are bigger than 22 & 23G needles. We cath veins with these needles when starting an iv every day, so saying that you cant cath a vein or artery with a 22 or 23Gauge needle is incorrect. I could use a 16G needle and cath the viens in your arms. Going intramuscular, yes its hard to get into a artery or vein but consider some people may not be going deep enough. Someone could be using an insulin syringe or using a 1" needle and only going in half way., then defininataly, someone could cath a vein. Like you said, one could and very often go right through a vien on the way into the muscle, mostly when body fat is high and you can not see the veins in the shoulders to purposfully miss. Pulling the skin to the side is called "Z tracking" and helps close off the hole that the needle made(like you said). If not using the Z tracking method, as you pull out the needle, the solution and any blood can come back up the hole and be intraduced into the vein that was pierced going in. This is why people get tren cough. Every time the heart beats it can push some of the oil around the injection site were a vien was punctured into the bloodstream there by making its way to the lungs and then the oil crosses over the bronchiols causing irritation. This is also why you have said many times, dont poke the quads, to many veins.
Ironic..I literally just finished a TRT glute injection which bled a lot more than usual.. it didn't squirt out, it dripped out.. happens once in while.. and definitely dont wait if you get an infection..I used to bounce on Long Island.. there was a bouncer who got an infection in his arm from a delt shot .... the infection got so bad that the doctors wanted to remove his arm to save his life
... he refused to have the arm amputed and he died.

It's not that unlikely. I went to low on my deltoid. My arm went all red then a cist formed and stayed there for two years. I just got it cut out by a plastic surgeon a few weeks ago. Tbe cist was attached to a nerve in my arm
I have an injection site that for the 2nd time in a row caused a ton of pain and was warm to the touch. The same stuff didn't cause pain in other injection sites. Its not red, I don't have a fever its just a little swollen and warm, should I still get on anti-biotics?

I used Insulin Needles for injecting 200mg Testosterone Cypinate and Deca. The Large needles are NOT necessary unless you carry a lot of fat or you enjoy pain. Insulin needles are 1/2 inch long, that is long enough to pass through the skin layers and inject INTO the Muscle......I shot my thighs like this for years....No Issues. I discovered this and tried it after getting sick of being Harpooned all the time by big ass needles. Just run some hot tap water over the Syringe before you inject, that way the gear thins out a bit from the heat and has no trouble passing through the smaller needle.

(Tren cough) when someone injects them self with tren obviously there will be the tren/oil of the tip of the syringe if you go throw a blood vessel a trace amount of oil will then get into the blood vessel then in turn will give you tren cough but it isn't something you should worry about as near enough all injectables will do the same not just tren, tren just makes the cough more prominent

1 in 4 injections of Tr*n for me, i got the cough.....it was extremely severe each of the 10 times. Ill NEVER do that shit again. Worst stuff ever and the sides are 5 times worse than any other compound!
It's not just tren it's any gear with benzoyl alcohol in it. It's when it gets into your blood stream then enters your lungs!
The worst thing thats happened to me is i lied awake most of the night freezing cold with every blanket in the house on top of me shivering and had a pounding headache. Lasted about an hour both times. Just test too. I had what felt like tren cough emediately but the worst came a couple hours after

What should I do, the other day did a thigh injection slowly and the last 1/4 inch of the needle felt like I hit a nerve whole leg was on fire from injection site to knee, no blood came out. Leg hurt for 15 minutes. I have had sciatic pain from a back injury and that's what it felt like. Anyway went on with my day and it was aching all day. Today just slightly sore but not bad. No redness at all but wondering what I could have hit, I do not want to use that thigh again. Thinking of going to my glutes now at least every few shots. This was not just an injection pain.
I once took a shot on my quad and when i sitting down... when the needle came out the blood came out like a 'Geiser'! I was surprised but not worried, it didnt hurt and i laughed when it happened!!! True story

My wife gives me the shots for the last 6 years already, she is such a pro already, i don’t feel anything and basically never any bleeding, sometimes a drop or two of blood, thats it and never had an infection
But
I also clean to rubber part on vial with alcohol, twice, then new syringe and needle to draw from vial, then another new needle on the filled syringe(needle then much sharper especially after pulling from 2 or even 3 other vials first) then alcohol on ass and again a second time and then she pokes me when muscle relaxed. Its been working for me for 6 years. If a syringe or needle maybe drop i throw all away and start new again

Every injection I've done for the last 10 years gets red, hard and painful for 3 to 7 days.... it's just normal. Never had an infection or any problems afterwards...probably well over 1,000 injections

Who injects with a 22 gauge needle in 2020? This is not 1980 Dave. I use 30 gauge needles for my TRT. Subq injection‘s in the glutes.

Insulin pins don’t go deep enough for intramuscular injections. They are made for subcutaneous shots only. Insulin is meant to be put into the skin not the muscle. So why would you use those for Test?

2-3 times of my .. 50-60 injections thro my life ... i got a feeeling that my heart gonna explode , and had a hard time breathing for a period of 30-60 seconds, don't know if it was some scary shock of i actually hit a vein and the oil went straight to the heart and was struggling to pump up the oil thro the arteries, but damn its a shitty feeling brah.

I’ve had all the bad shots he mentioned at the beginning of the video, and nothing serious happened except a little pain for a week or so. The worst shot I’ve done is in my quads did it once never again, couldn’t walk for 2 weeks!
I always thought you lost medication and it used to fuck with my head.Like this morning I took a trt shot to my shoulder.I took it out and didn't realize that blood was coming out I waited like 10 seconds before I covered it.But this video made me feel better that I didn't lose anything.
what did you do to get rid of tge pain..i did mine in the rectus femoris muscle fron side of the quad. Feels like a baseball bat hit in the front side of my thigh😢

Like literally i thought, oh wow...so this is how it all ends.... i die from injection. Very sad way to go! Don't ever take tren!! The sides are not worth it! The sides on that stuff is worse than all the other compounds combined!!! Stick to test and an oral!

I pinned once in the right butt, after first week was over i pinned again on the left, I am injecting 250cc its an oil based product and both times caused slight pain with inflammation of that muscle. Am I injecting too fast?

Had to give blood cause my hematocrit is up from cycling. They hit my vein with a 16 gauge needle. That's thicker than your phone charger cable. I inject with a 23 gauge in my glutes.
What Dave said about the medical staff factual because most don't usually inject such a thick oil based injection so they have little experience when they start doing it. For those that live close to the mexico border and use anabolic steroids you can usually ask the pharmacist in mexico to inject you for an extra 1 or 2 dollars specially at the big chain "la guadalupana farmacia" which there are at least 2 per town and even more in the cities, and they have experience injecting dense oil based injectables like anabolic steroids and sell only reputable injectables like organon and oral estrogen blockers from bayer.
Pulling back the skin is a good idea. Hate when a drop of oil comes back out... Wasted 7mg!!

Never put the pin in all the way. If it ever breaks off you need something left to grab onto to pull it out! I am a nurse and this is taught to us in school.

What about when you inject the oil and 10 seconds later I start coughing like crazy. I was told I hit a vein and injected the oil into my vein and it went into the bronchis and the lungs try to expel it. Happened to me a lot. How do you best avoid it ?
