I bought my son the wltoys wl916. 42.1 mph on 3s with my skyrc gps. Awesome lil boat before the esc burnt up. Replaced with a 40a shark and he runs it every weekend. I would buy it again.
Thanks Steve. Yea the first mod I'm gonna do is the trim tab situation after that who knows. Gonna run her again here shorty. Oh yea Second order of business, make room for a bigger battery.
Great Little Boat !! Good Review......😎 I have one of these Outrider Motors They are Air Cooled running in a 32" Boat Running 6S With a Dynamite 120 does around 55mpg
i wonder if esc was hotter than motor or not hot at all... Also battery temps are important to me...i puffed a bunch...this is a fast little boat for sure... it may be over 30 mph...maybe some tuning would get it to 35mph..I don't care how long you been running bigger boats a little ripper is always nice to have in your fleet.
Cool little boat. Even cooler little pond. Jeeze, I have to drive 25 miles to run my boats in what's little more than a wading pool; you seem to have ponds everywhere. I suppose it's not that bad though, since I have little to no "publicly-accessable" water anywhere, the 'gator population is nonexistent. You did touch an important topic for the newbie, and that is to consider the body of water before buying a boat. The little Tornado would be hard to see at the Speed Run Spot, and the 42 would run out of room in that pond before it ever got on plane.
@@IRONCLADRC I suppose that's why there's nothing in my fleet bigger than 24" (with the vast majority under 18"): Big bodies of water are few and far between (I live within a short walk to the biggest body of water on the planet, BUT........ It's salty and often times has 5' to 8' surf......)
not sure if you have an answer, but i ordered a similar rc boat from amazon but it says racebeast instead of tornado. mine didnt come with a strap for the battery and it keeps falling out. should i return it?
@@IRONCLADRC also do you have a specific type i should buy? the part where the battery goes (for me atleast) isnt flat and wouldnt hold velcro very well
Something like this should work Dual Lock Fastener 1in x 2in 8pcs Reclosable Interlocking Tape Heavy Duty, EZ Pass Holder Adhesive Hook Lock Sticky Back Mushroom Mounting Tape Black Color for Indoor and Outdoor a.co/d/8ssC3Od
The speed run spot is a bit far away we've seen lately a lot. The pond with the trees I see the most, this one is new to me. Now where I live there is water everywhere, small to large options galore.
There lots of smaller ponds around me, unfortunately in the summer months most of the smaller ponds are over grown with weeds.. I usually drive about 5-8 Minutes to & from the water in any direction. The Speed Run Spot Is the farthest away 10-12 min depending on traffic. My favorite little pond was 2 minutes away but they installed 2 huge water fountains smack dab in the middle of the pond so I'm not able to run my boats there anymore. Grrrrrrrr
halfway through watching it seems awesome... 30 mph stock for a 15 inch boat is really hauling...love the launches .
Oh that’s the boat I’ve been seeing in all the Facebook boat groups. I kinda dig it!
It's pretty cool, I like it 👌
Sure is, will soon be available in Australia rtr on Facebook on my page in wich are coming soon.
Check for updates on Facebook when they are in stock.
Cool little boat. Cool to have a night rider in your collection.
I've been wanting a night runner. Maybe I'll do a night running video!
Looks like a fun little boat. Thank's for Sharing Big B 👊🤘💯✌

Lograstes medir la velocidad máxima que lograstes sacarle?
Cual me recomiendas mas , este o el WLtoys916?
I love this little boat.

Looks like a good fun little beast, .
Nice little 17” ripper there.. boats like that are just fun! Like the little pond there man..we haven’t been to this one before?

Great review Big B. What a great starter boat to get someone hooked on the hobby! Love it!
I'm just wondering how long before you start tinkering 😂👍

Thanks brother. 55 is great on 6s with an outrunner. Outrunners have loads of torque
great boat for kid for sure!

Hi Brother Charl south Africa, what do you think about Joyway rc boats ?
I like the big storm and monster catamaran.

There's alot of little ponds near me, lots. The big bodies of water are few & far between unfortunately (private lakes)

Nice review. I recently got one. It's fun but doesn't self right 😢

HD velcro stuck in the hull and battery or a small velcro strap will keep the lipo in place

Little ripper there. Is it simple to remove the shaft for greasing?
I haven't greased it yet but liiks simple 2 grub screws and the shaft should pull right out for ya
how many ponds do you have around you? It seems you are at a different location every time! lol (lucky!)
The gators keep following him so he has to keep moving.

@@IRONCLADRC
I hope someone distributes in the U.K.
Cracking little boat, great speed & looks indestructible!! Great review chap. 👍🏼
Just knock off recoil 17?
I don't know about that I've got a recoil 17 and there nothing alike looks or performance
@@IRONCLADRC i have a 17 aswell...looks pretty similar your right tho 17 looks faster with a smaller motor seems like
Too small to put money into upgrades imo, good as it is for a little basher it’s borderline hobby grade
are you kidding me says 65 plus km/h on the box... if it hits even 50 km/h it would be a serious ripper...
