    I was born and bred in Southfamily working in the coal mines. Arthur Scargill and his cronies completely misrepresented

      Should have read - I was born and bred in South Shields. Some of my family worked in the coal mines. Arthur Scargill and his cronies completely misrepresented the situation as the mines were already doomed. Scargill thought he could topple a democratically elected Government. He had the luxury of two homes and a car funded by the miners while they struggled to make ends meet,
