Adorable Hana, May, Moco, Nagi and Kotetsu are surprisingly well composed as they have their nails trimmed because they know their Grandparents will never intentionally harm them and because they have each other and their wonderful mother Lulu close by to support them. Nails grown too sharp and brittle become a problem with cats. To avoid nail tips break off and risk of falling off a tree, cats self trim their nails before climbing. Trim by scratching the tree bark.
Kitten keepers can experiment with various materials to find one that had the most desirable result, nearly as good as using a trimmer. If successful, keepers don’t have to take challenge from kittens avoiding the trimming.
