Anecdotally, I know multiple people that are 9-12 months still waiting on individual. I’m at 5 months right now so I think SS is just posting the fastest.
Call the atf or get your shop to manually go in and check if it has been approved. I bought two cans back in December. Got approved for one in 60 days and was at 110 days for the second one. That's for sure! Their process adds weeks before you file and after you get an approval. And with their restocking charge and in store credit they basically have a no refund policy. I found out to late and will probably be waiting a long time 😡
Despite the good feels stemming from them actually doing their job, the larger question remains - WHY were they taking so long for approvals in the first place? I would expect them to be at least as efficient as DMV, and NICS. Or at the very least, as competent as CCW permit issuers. Maybe two months, tops. So the question remains - WHY so much obstruction to obtaining personal protection equipment????
my 1st silencer in 2023 took a lil over 7 months, i started seeing approvals for 1-5 days so i bought one in march on the 25th, all paperwork and atf accepted stuff done by the 28th haven't heard anything back i hope its not another 6 months for approval
Still waiting on a form 4 individual Mach 18. Wonder if it is quicker for those that aren't first timers or does the ATF just hate me? Got a clean background and a CCW. Sigh.
Its been 443 days for me so far. Pretty frustrated with the process. Feel like i am being held hostage. ATF says its waiting on the background check from FBI. I wrote a letter to my local Congressman about a week ago. I wonder if it might be faster if I just re-submit the entire application. This is ridiculous.
My SUBMITTED/IN PROCESS EFORMS Form 4 trust on January 6 2024..... still no word. My SUBMITTED/IN PROCESS EFORMS Form 4 individual on March 26 2024..... still no word. But, it might be important to note that I get a DELAY on every firearms purchase regardless of handgun or long gun. I'm under the impression that if you are delayed for a more in depth background check you will be moved out of the way for people that don't get delayed. Therefore, not seeing a quick approval. If you can buy a handgun and be instantly approved you'll see a quick approval for an EFORMS Form 4 individual. I think?

I’ve been waiting for 4 months from silencer shop
Yeah, your name is at the back of the pack. People who put them in at the end of February or starting to get. If you put yours in around the holidays your way back I don’t know why they started it like that but that’s how it’s going.
I have been waiting almost 5 months so far
@@fathertimencUSA I ended up buying another one and got my other one approved and got approved for the next one 2 days later
3/21 certified Form 4... still waiting.
Dont mess with silencer central they literally make you file a trust
That's for sure! Their process adds weeks before you file and after you get an approval. And with their restocking charge and in store credit they basically have a no refund policy. I found out to late and will probably be waiting a long time 😡
Wrong still waiting for my suppressor put in the form 4 in April of last year.
Its new purchases bro
Now Silencer Shop is log jamming and prolonged processing times are becoming a factor. 🤷♂️
Log jamming, or just slammed with orders?
Filed Feb 27th as a trust on silencershop for two cans…… nothing yet
Despite the good feels stemming from them actually doing their job, the larger question remains - WHY were they taking so long for approvals in the first place? I would expect them to be at least as efficient as DMV, and NICS. Or at the very least, as competent as CCW permit issuers. Maybe two months, tops. So the question remains - WHY so much obstruction to obtaining personal protection equipment????
What are you all talking about???? Your happy now that you must ask your daddy for permission????
And I’ve still been waiting since October 2023 .
Hopefully it won't be a year plus.
Submitted 11am, approved 10am the next day.
Did you go through silencer shop?
Last year the wait time said 45 days, took 9 months to get my SBR stamp approved 😢
4 form submitted 3/25/24...nothing yet :(
Same from 3/22
my 1st silencer in 2023 took a lil over 7 months, i started seeing approvals for 1-5 days so i bought one in march on the 25th, all paperwork and atf accepted stuff done by the 28th haven't heard anything back i hope its not another 6 months for approval
I bet it will be shorter than 6 months.
Still waiting on a form 4 individual Mach 18. Wonder if it is quicker for those that aren't first timers or does the ATF just hate me? Got a clean background and a CCW. Sigh.
I bought mine mid March and still waiting...
I don't know about a resubmission, I haven't heard of that being done. It's an interesting question.
Still waiting since July 23’. Eform 4
First suppressor wait time was 5 months and second one only took 2 days
Impressive difference.
I waited 4 days and i filed individual. i couldn't believe it
Nice!
Suppressors shouldn’t have a wait time. Or “ SBRS”
Cans have been 12 hours to 14 days
Ordered 2 cans thru silencer Central the first of june last year and still haven't heard anything.
I think?
That delay will probably affect your form 4s as well.
I just got mine today only took 8 days
Not bad!
I'm at 63 day and counting
I submitted 2-15-24 and still waiting. Others submit today and get approval in a week. What is wrong with this system?
Submitted Individual trust eform March 28th approved April 2nd. 1 suppressor.
That not bad!
form 1 & form 4 submitted in nov. 2023, still waiting april 2024 so.............
I had a form 1 individual that came back in 6 days just a couple weeks ago.
Not bad!
Submitted on 3/22/24 w/ Silencer Shop and still waiting!
Single shot trust or individual?
@@mixdbyjoshua5621Individual.
3/27/24 certified a single shot trust thru SS, still waiting
SBR E-form 1 submitted 60 days ago.
12 months and 4 days waiting 1st can eform 4 individual fast times my ass
Picking everyone's brain, bought two cans a month ago, still waiting , i bought another can 3 weeks ago, start to finish,(5) days, still waiting on first order?
Now sitting at 37 days and counting….wasn’t one of the lucky ones
Submitted 3/25/24 and mailed on prints same day. Nothing as of 4/4/24 so definitely SS electronic prints is definitely speedy compared to mail in prints. Now I’m just wondering if it’s gonna be a couple weeks or a year.
The mail in prints definitely add a delay. Let us know when it gets approved.
1st time, individ form 4 apri 1st..still nothing as of today 9 april..but did it, becuase of the new quicker rumor.. soo we will see.. i am not too confident yet.. especially as a 1st time guy .
Hopefully it's quick.
4 days for my last can. What am improvement!!
That's great!
There is still no rhyme or reason to the times, my FFL is a pretty high volume dealer with suppressors and they said it doesn't make sense, they have had a few people with 3-day approvals, but 99% of their 2024 customers are still waiting, they have been unable to figure out how some people get lucky.
There has always seemed to be inconsistency with everything the ATF process.
