Kompany was already a worldclass talent, but then Hazard showed up, then Dembele Vertonghen Vermaelen and Alderweireld in Holland, Lukaku, Mignolet, De Bruyne and Courtois in Belgium, Nainggolan in Italy, ... And others are coming :)

@nocternalD He was league top scorer at 16 years old. He's incredibly fast, not just for a player his size, but for a person in general. His technique has improved vastly, Drogba and Torres give him a lot of advice and they are both technically gifted on the ball. He's pretty good off the ball too and creating space for other players from the reserve games i've been watching.
There were quit a few balls that he should have hold on to in the first time. But his range and reflexes are just amazing. He should stay at Genk for another 2 years or so because he is so young, Chelsea comes to early now for him. Definetly going to buy him on FIFA :P
you people have to remember with this video its only showing his best bits and not how he plays for a whole 90 mins he doesnt seem to be very calm or composed but has amazing shop stopping talent definately not the finished article but massive potential will judge him properly when i see him play for chelsea against man u or arsenal or one of the big clubs hes never played that competitively will the pressue get the better of him or not only time will tell
@PforPier True, but most of the time the ball did bounce to his teammate or empty area, which is pretty good. Especially Chelsea have one of the best defense line in the world, I guess they can anticipate his attitude in goal keeping (rarely catch the ball). And he is still 19 :D
Wow....... this is the next Petr Cech. I just saw the first 2 and 30 seconds on this video and right away I knew that this guy will be Cech's replacement. Now this is the kind of players Chelsea should get; young with talent and passion that will keep on making Chelsea the best team for many years more. Haha.... dumb of Man U. not getting T. Courtois. In a few years from now, they will be like Arsenal regretting on not signing Cech (but in this case, Courtois). Chelsea FC = Pride of London!

To those who say he can't catch ball: come on guys, that's just a vid. Off course the guy who did it just put the most spectacular saves, and off course they're mostly non-handling saves. What did you expect? A keeper who can handle shoots a point-blank range?
as a chelsea fan he looks good but i hoping to see some footage of him going up for corner's. because when he is at chelsea away to stoke and some bloke called rory delap is about to take a throw he isnt going to know what to do.
oh fk this guy is insane... i think what makes cech stand out is his ability to control the box and take the load off defenders, if this guy learns the art, nothing like it + ya like already mentioned he needs to learn to catch the ball.. but a talent nevertheless.. Problem is, i dont see cech slowing down anytime soon, hes got a lotta good yrs ahead of him considering he's a gk who have longer career's than outfield players

Looks solid. Only concern is that in a better league, a lot of those deflected saves will become second chances. Needs to get better at holding on to the ball as opposed to just pushing it away from goal. Glad to have an heir apparent to the peerless Petr Cech though!
Good, but not quite the finished article... a season in a top and highly attcking minded league like la liga would do him a world of good.....work hard Thibaut and return as the world's best, because you will have to be at that level to replace the amazing Cech

I am a chelsea fan, but i am still a little sceptical. I mean we already have two good keeper prospects in Taylor and Delac. Still i guess there is a better chance of a Cech replacement with 3 talents.
@yozabest No doubt, this guy is destined for great things, but what im worried about is Cech blocking this guys way into the first team. But hopefully AVB,(or whoever else is manager) will see that this guy has potential, will give him his break and Young Thibaut will be Chelsea's Goalie Supremo!

His first save is amazing for a youngster. Casillas did a save like that in 2009
He'll be belgium's #1 very soon, he made 1 mistake this year, a penalty fault, but he did incredible saves, what a reflexes

Reminded of a young Iker casillias from his saves but has the body of Petr Cech and to me that's a wild mix of goalkeeper
