Anyone else low key wanna live on Sodor? The countryside is lovely, the weather is diverse, the people seem to be old fashioned and friendly. Neighbors help neighbors, that kind of thing. It's a place where anyone with any talent could find a home. Even without the NWR, I'd love to go and learn it's history. I mean, for heavens sake, even it's businessmen are kind. It just feels like... home.
Oh, very interesting. Definitely one of the more unique Thomas-related videos I've stumbled across. I'd love for more of these to exist. Maybe ones centered around certain locations such as the hustle and bustle of Knapford Station, the industry of Centre Island Quarry, the sleepy country station of Maron, or the peaceful serenity of the Sudric landscape.
Honestly i always felt at home while watching ttte. Sodor seems like such a lovely place to live at. I always loved how the stories just mention places like "Gordons hill" or "Tidmuth" without giving much explenation. Like is a place we all know
Honestly its just nice to hear this. Makes me think most of the engines are just sitting by a radio at the sheds or near a countryside station to listen to the tunes of an old show or smth.
The only problem I have with this is the sound of... a signal changing or something? (46:51 , also this random timestamp bc that's where I'm at rn) Just that happening a little too often. And that's just a nitpick. Everything else here is just, *"yes."* The calm atmosphere with the occasional whistle and steam, feels like you're trainspotting! Great ambiance video!
The Island of Sodor home to Thomas and his friends they like to feel responsible reliable and really useful they’re always right on track and right on time
@@ThighFish no, they’re machines. It’s what they’re designed to do. They’re not like humans. They literally want to feel useful and feel proud that they can provide services.

This is great stuff to work to, thank you!
Im just listening to this all peaceful,, until the coal hopper goes "CA-CHUNK"
I wish there were more of these hour-long Thomas ambience videos. They make for excellent ASMR.
I'm hoping to make more soon!
I love this! It's fun to listen to when running my motorized toy trains on the various tracks I've set up.
This is actually one of the things I really like listening to when working on video essays and such!
Really neat job!

Holy shoot that's good.

The engines are also confident cheerful and determined not to be bullied by the Diesel
The next time I read The Thomas The Tank Engine Man by Brian Sibley, I'm going to listen to this. I also listened to it when I previously read it.
I knew I wasn't the only one
oh this is wonderful

Ah my childhood.
I remember watching this as a kid and laughing at the horrible punishments sir Top and hat put the enslaved trains through. 😀
“Enslaved”
My guy, they’re trains. They’re supposed to do work
