Hey Andy, big fan of the show and I believe strongly in the seriousness of this topic, but this interview really left a bad taste in my mouth. Mr. Garrison comes off as naive and disappointingly credulous, even for our standards. Hyping MUFON, the discussions of teach ins at ivy league universities, and a masters level program in ufo research are particularly concerning. Yale specifically is about as close to the CIA as you can get. The idea that any of this is more than bluster and fundraising is dubious at best. Additionally, comparing the disclosure movement to the civil rights movement crosses the line from concerning to embarassing, at least in my opinion. Disclosure is important, but don't compare yourself to MLK like that and expect to be taken seriously. Jim assuming the garb of social revolution while simultaneously bragging about his acceptance into the halls of power is a clear indication of how out of touch he is. These are just some examples, but to me they are sufficient to characterise the overall experience of the interview. If individuals like this represent the old guard of ufo research, its easy to see why it has struggled to gain and maintain legitimacy. We can leave them behind and still focus on the real work and legislation being done.
